Re: Danish League 2017/2018

I'm really impressed by the newly promoted teams and their off-season additions - especially Aalborg. They already have a base of players with Laura Lund, Line Berggren and Julie Aagaard, but they continue to add to that with Emma Friberg, Mathilde Storgaard, Anne Brinch and now Katja Ryesberg. https://www.ta.no/sport/handball/gjerpen/gjerpen-jakter-gull-i-danmark/s/5-50-532026 Gjerpen wants Gulmark and Lundbye. Article is locked though. Gulmark already has offers from Sweden including Kristianstad HK and Lundbye is wanted in Denmark. It does seem like they will end up being a package. The...

Re: Transfers 2018/2019

Cecilie Specht, RB, from Ajax to Skövde in Sweden. I really like her as a player. I think she will return to a bigger club after what I believe will be a very successful stay for her in Sweden. She is a player I hoped for a while would be brought to Aarhus. She can be developed into a quality RB. Fi...

Re: Rumour Mill - Transfer Talk & Other

I think it's reasonable to expect Housheer to split time with Wallén as the back-up to Sunami on RB. Sunami is penciled in as the starter and she will get the majority of the playing time. They are incredibly excited about having her in the squad. So being the second/third back-up with a chance to b...

Re: Rumour Mill - Transfer Talk & Other

ETA: Whoops, forgot all about them signing Yui Sunami. I'm guessing that means Lundbye will leave? Because I see no point in them playing Housheer on RW when they've already got the league's best RW (Ikehara) and a very decent second-choice (Olsen) out there. Although I think it would have been sma...

Re: Rumour Mill - Transfer Talk & Other

It's supposed to be Nykøbing: https://nos.nl/artikel/2229754-handbalster-housheer-ook-aan-de-slag-in-denemarken.html I thought they already had 2 right backs. Is one of them leaving? Lundbye has been rumoured to be leaving but I can't see an 18-year-old replacing her as their starting RB and Wallén...

Re: Rumour Mill - Transfer Talk & Other

Nykøbing do potentially have 3 other right backs next season, so she wouldn't really see the field much there. Lundbye might leave but she has an option to stay. Housheer will be a hybrid between wing and back. No need to pencil her into one position but the best amount of playing time could be on t...

I'm pretty sure the idea is that Housheer will be a right wing in Nykøbing behind Ikehara.

Re: Danish League 2017/2018

I really can't see Esbjerg threatening Odense. I get that you always have to be prepared for if Esbjerg plays lights out and Odense doesn't perform but it just doesn't seem realistic to me. Right now there is a massive difference between these two teams. Odense is peaking at just the right time and ...

Re: Rumour Mill - Transfer Talk & Other

Ellertsen is highly regarded in and sought after in Denmark, so it would always be an option for her to take her talents here but it's just not realistic given her situation with home-sickness. If that doesn't affect her as much anymore, then she could easily come to Denmark to play.

Re: Danish League 2017/2018

I think Silkeborg will be weaker but not a lot. Skogrand is a massive blow but Sofie Bæk is running that show and as you said. Andreasen will always find a way to make his team perform. It will be interesting to see what KBH does in their match against NFH. It would make the most sense to rest playe...

Re: Danish League 2017/2018

So Aarhus United has most of the squad locked down for the next season. Right now they still need to find a left and right wing. Sofie Olsen would be a dream signing to pair up with Charlotte Lund. Sophia Snogdal could also be a possibility to bring back to Aarhus on the wing. It would be nice to se...

Re: Transfers 2018/2019

Ringkøbing signing some interesting players the last few days. Pivot Nanna Hinnerfeldt is coming from FCM and playmaker Jenny Carlson from Lugi.

They had somewhat of a boring team this season but they are shaping up to be an exciting team to watch.

http://i67.tinypic.com/2vug21t.jpg The Danish u20-team for the upcoming matches. Easy to notice that Lea Hansen is still not being considered by Heine but Hougaard and Hansen has been great this season. I think København's consistency will take them far but I think Odense will win it this year - mostly because of Althea Reinhardt in goal.

Re: Injuries

Maria Fisker couldn't postpone her surgery anymore, so her season is over. Randers' #2 playmaker Cecilie Mørch is also out with an ankle-injury and Rikke Thorngaard is dealing with a bad shoulder right now, so it will be interesting to see if they can pull it off.
