Re: Transfers 2018/2019

What I can recall is that she had a big name when arrived to Érd and there were big expectations but she did not prove her talent, at least in Érd. So, that's why they kept her for 3 years, away from her husband, who lives in Podgorica. great teammate, big professional. The two phrases that decribe...

Re: 2018 European Championship - France

Slovenia and the Czech Republic will both go through to the EURO as the second- and third-placed teams if a) Slovenia beats Denmark at home, and b) CZE wins against SLO at home in the last round. Otherwise, the third place will most likely be decided between Croatia/Switzerland and Austria. Of cours...

Still, I like him a lot as a coach and I wish him good luck in this "once in a life time" venture . Speaking of which, Johansson has revealed that his contract with CSM runs until the end of this season. As of summer, he would like to focus on the Montenegro NT only. http://www.vijesti.me...

Re: 2018 Women's Junior U20 WCh (Hungary)

IMO this is a failure of the Serbian Handball Federation and the country's diplomacy. Why on earth did they agree to host a group which includes Kosovo as participants? Everyone saw this was coming, so they could have easily let Slovakia or Norway organize the tournament. The Serbian government is a...

Tomori has really been unlucky in her prime years.

Majda Mehmedović broke her nose against Poland, but is expected to be ready for the CL QFs.

By far the best and most exciting match this season, along with CSM-Rostov.

Nathalie Hangman as the best right wing is a joke. Even worse is picking Dembele over Houette on the left wing.

Re: Injuries

UPDATE

Apparently, Ema Ramusović’s injury is not as serious as it looked initially, so she’ll remain part of Montenegro’s WCH squad. It is not clear when she’ll be ready, though.

Sorry for the confusion, but I just report what I see in the media.

Re: 2017 World Championship - Germany

How many players are allowed on the final roster - 16 or 18? I'm asking because Montenegro and Serbia are each taking 18 players to Germany, so I wonder if all of them will be part of the team for each game.

Unfortunately, yes. RBs Malović and Premović both suffered injuries against BBM's defence, but hopefully there won't be major consequences.

That's just wishful thinking - Buducnost obviously can't afford a better squad that it has now. And that's perfectly fine, as many European clubs have been going through financial difficulties over the past decade, but have remained on the big stage. ('"Financial difficulties" is probably ...

Re: Players' naturalisation in women's handball

I don't think such a rule could prevent nations such as Qatar from buying players, as they are increasingly setting their sights on younger players. I believe a more reasonable rule could be that a player should have a relevant link with the country they represent.

No, they think the EHF did this on purpose, because they were whining about the Danish refs in Flensburg, which is sponsored by a Danish company.
