Feel so sorry for FTC.

And they had the ball for the championship. (Háfra missed the shot)
Just like they did in Győr (Schatzl missed).
And in the Cup semi (Pena missed).

Re: Champions League FINAL4 (12-13 May)

What a great game we saw! Everything that makes women Handball so beautiful. Big advertisement for Handball. Congratulations to Gyor, great dansers also the Gyor girls :). The game was very close but in the end only one team can win, that was Gyor. Nothing more imposing like an objective sentence ....

Re: Champions League FINAL4 (12-13 May)

The odds should be: 3,00 Vardar 3,00 CSM 4,00 Rostov 4,50-5,00 Gyor I guess both Vardar and CSM would want Rostov rather for the semi, and Győr rather for the final when meeting them. ETO tends to lose some power for the 2nd day (especially with slimmer squad), while Rostov is harder to get going +...

Re: Champions League FINAL4 (12-13 May)

It's hard to say without a draw what team is a favorite. I think Gyor plays at home, so they have an advantage. Bucharest has a great roster, but their play is questionable, because they lost a lot of matches. Rostov is less experienced as a team, but our players played in a final four. For Vardar ...

Re: Champions League FINAL4 (12-13 May)

I feel Győr's available roster too slim to do it again.
Their defense without Tomori is not as strong as before.
I'm sure Oftedal will be ready, but Groot is questionable.
They can beat any of these teams 1 on 1, but the F4 is a 2 day competition.

Thorir did not let any rest for the key players through the whole tournament. Krumbholz did.
+ the French star coach knew very well that he can let Skogrands place unguarded + the Danish blind chicks would let the pivot to be defended via using the inside area.

Anyway, before the WC Rasmussen said the team will be ready for the next Euro. I'm looking forward to see it. At the moment the only improvement I can see is in fast breaks. Let's take a look on the positive things. We have 2 good and young goalkeepers, also have young and good wings. The playmakers ...

Kisfaludy is so slow, that in her turning time to face the keeper even I would get to the 6m line from Budapest to stop her. Against Edwige and Ayglon she will only play hida and seek if getting opportunity to play. I just hope at least she won't start with 2 attack fouls like against Poland.

I don't think Hungary are playing bad, but their fans are having expectations. The squad is far from perfect, but also not mediocre at all. Rasmussen should bring them to top 8 at least, otherwise they will be unsatisfied. Probably some Hungarians think they can still reach medals with these player...
