Re: Rumour Mill - Transfer Talk & Other

I've noticed this just minutes ago, on the English section of Wikipedia . Comments, please :D ! https://i.imgur.com/h8CfQrQ.jpg Wow, super interesting as they say its just a matter of fact before the contract with Larvik is signed. She has one year left of the contract with Storhamar, but the ...

Seen the matches in the Scandinavian cup, think Norway will struggle tomorrow. You have some backs and line player for the future. Tirca is a future Neagu!

Re: 2018/19 EHF Champions League

Brilliant guessing Bo$ko! How come Lada didn't get a chance? Is it the same as Banik? The hall is not according to the requirements of EHF? Regarding Larvik and Brest, I assume any of the two pluss Craiova and Bietigheim could have received a wild card. They will probably be the two last teams quali...

Re: Larvik, new generation, 18/19

Loke is surprising. In the middle of the season, Győr wanted to sign her and they announced that Loke intended to come but her club said no and has no chance to bring her in later too. And now Larvik is able to bring her? I think it´s family reasons. Understandable, as she does not train with the t...

Larvik, new generation, 18/19

Just heard a rumour Heidi Like might sign a contract with Larvik if they manage to solve the financial part. Would make sense as she travels 3 hours to Storhamar... She has a year left of her contract with them, wonder how she will solve this. With signings such as Molid and perhaps Løke, Rigelhuth ...

Re: 2018/19 EHF Champions League

@Lucy, they used to have an extra qualification tournament with two groups of three or four teams going further to last qualification round. The thing is, most nations with Russia (Lada) included did not apply, as its too expensive. Many nations decline. But still, I think it should be more groups t...

Re: Transfers 2018/2019

Another huge blow for Byåsen after Silje Waade left to their rivals Vipers. Kristin Venn signed Storhamar on the condition she will be accepted by the school in the area. Venn also have a contract with Byåsen but can break it if her studies requires so. Venn declined the national team, and has been ...

Re: 2018/19 EHF Champions League

LArvik already applied. According to Norways ranking, perhaps they get a direct place instead of BBM and Brest? However, much depend if Macedonia will take their place, many teams withdraw from qualifications as its too expensive to be part of it. Do think Sweden will get a direct place this year, P...

Re: Transfers 2018/2019

Holta big name...  Yeah, maybe in Nor 2nd league... :D Ok, she is not a big name, but I've seen her playing against DVSC in 2016 and she is amazing. Her tragedy is that due to being a Norwegian she is in the shadow of the Oftedals, Kristiansens but she definitely worth the attention. I ...

Re: Transfers 2018/2019

Silje Waade extends her contract with Byåsen for three more seasons. Apparently they do a lot better sponsorships. Allowing the club to sign a few more profiles. http://www.topphandball.no/3-nye-ar-i-byasen-handball-elite/ Only five months later she signs for Vipers for two seasons: https://www.aft...

Re: Larvik HK, new generation, 2017/18

Larvik beat Storhamar 27-22 tonight. Seems like they might get a spot in the CL qualifying tournament. Who would have thought that before this season. Congrats girls, 2 matches to go. Vipers on the other hand might do a scoop and sign Silje Waade, Storhamar Kristin Venn... Seems like there will be a...

I will be happy if they indeed survive. It would have been bloody shame to loose Larvik.[/quote] They did survive! Not just survive economically, but trashed Storhamar with Heidi Løke 41 - 32. Hege Løke and Rivaas Toft, amazing additions to the team. These girls might bite hard next season, hope the...

Re: Larvik HK, new generation, 2017/18

Larvik can face bankruptcy if they do not manage to gather NOK 3 mill. Yesterday the girls gathered 2.2 mill without counting the "smaller" amounts donated within 4 hours!! This sum will be counted within tomorrow. Seems like Larvik survived this scare as well. It just says how strong the ...

What is it like in Russia, do Russian teams usually apply for the second spot in CL? Both these teams should be in CL! Will the matches be streamed live somewhere, and last question, what will the squad of Rostov look like next year?

Larvik secured silver in the lease this year (beat Heidi Like and Storhamar 33-22, Storhamar didn´t even play european cup, a weak team according to expectations...
