Answering myself, again: it seems there is no live stream. You may be able to watch if you can receive a TV station carrying the Pan America Games AND they are willing to broadcast a handball match.

The Dutch federation is trying to start a new site for broadcasting matches. What i read is that it's mainly for men's handball, but they also broadcasted today's supercup match between VOC and Quintus.--> Handbalnl.tv https://www.handbalnl.tv/videos/sportsh ... rcup-dames

Does anybody know where we can watch the World Championships? I've looked all over the IHF websites and can't find anything.

Some info from the facebook page "Handbal Feminin" about World Cup broadcasts (translated to English):

Where can I watch the non-televised matches?
1. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNxIzSQ_GOWPmpC_V1oQVIA
2. https://sportdeutschland.tv/handball-wm-frauen-2019
Most likely, in both situations, a VPN will be needed (Hola, for example) to avoid any restrictions. Otherwise, you can try livetv.sx/enx (watch out for closing dubious ads).

So, all matches will be streamed on Youtube IHF Channel?

I don't know. It seems so from the schedule there, but I guess we will find out tomorrow.

I can only see one scheduled livestream on the IHF youtube channel. It's the opening ceremony. The other scheduled streams don't show up, probably due to geoblocking.

So, the youtube channel indeed streams all games, and in good quality. From Israel I can watch there all the games.

I guess it's geoblocked in many countries though. There were only about 110 viewers in Germany - Brazil. Stupid from IHF not to publish more info, it's like they stream the games but don't want anyone to know about that.

At least on Twitter IHF is advertising the streaming. But the way they handle media rights is a little ackward. For example, someone bought the rights for Brazil, but is not transmiting, and IHF admittedly knows that! Hence, Youtube streaming is geoblocked for Brasil...Same story on Men's WCh 2019 last january

Same thing with EHF Women's Champions League games in Canada. beIN Sports bought the rights, but doesn't use them, and ehfTV is geoblocked here.

Yes, even the Brazilian games. On Men's WCh , last january, the rights were bought by an Asiatic company, I believe the same company has the rights now. A sports coverage medium from Brazil asked IHF about transmisions, and IHF answered that someone bought the rights, but they will not transmit the games. If IHF were to pay someone to hide handball from Brazilian fans, they wouldn't get a better service than this. Unbelievable

^^ The IHF definitely isn't helping to spread the sport outside of Europe with such silly moves!
