Sad to see her go, she is one of the best LP in the game. According to me, at least. :)

All the best Mica, great handballplayer and person! =D>

Well, Mica is 38. ;)

She is certainly not happy with current status of being second or third choice. Here is an interview after her last game and Mica stated: "There were moments when I felt useless in this team and that won't be different next season as well. It doesn't worth it. It's better to say goodbye".

Oh, that's a shame. I think she is very useful and many times during last season I thought that her moves were the ones that were crucial and her role was great.
Her years are not seen at all, and in some smaller club she would definitely play the main role.

That's sad, I was hoping she would outlast Lene Rantala, who retired a year older than Gridneva :-)

a very interesting article about the retirement of Ramona Maier Farcau who will organize her exit in Rm. Valcea. I leave you to discover her future plans and the interesting things she says about her career and her current situation. I will say just one thing: her favourite place in a team is...RW, a bit surprising I would say.
I chose to post this article here cause I think it fits better than to the interviews topic. enjoy!

Croatian NT LW Ekaterina Nemaškalo will play the last match of her professional handball career today, at the age of 28. She's moving to Germany where she got a "civil" job.

Says a lot about the status of women's handball in ex-Yugoslavia, save for a couple of clubs.

South Korean veteran right wing Woo Sunhee (1978) said, that upcoming Asian Games (starting in two weeks) could be the last international event of her career.
I would say legendary South Korean winger Woo SUNHEE is back: http://www.handball123.com/forum/viewto ... 76#p156976

This time, Woo Sunhee leaves handball for good.

Big blow to handball in general. She is one of few with such qualities. Hope she will do a swift comeback. Handball will loose a character without her on the court.
