When are Ana Paula Rodriguez, Regina Kalinichenko and Vladlena Bobrovnikova back in action?

Yesterday Maria Mose Vestergård had her last check up about her meniscus problems. She will not need any surgery and according to herself she will be back on court in the very near future.

Amega broke a finger in the match against savehof. The club didn't say how long she will be out, but she will probably miss some important matches.

Dijana Ujkic out until the end of the season.
Ivona Pavicevic injured too. She will start with training next week.
No details about their injuries.
Tatjana Brnovic is injured since the start of the season, she will have a knee surgery at the end of the season. She is postponing it for quite a while now because she wants to help her teammates.

Who's going to be the starting wings now? Grbic on the right side and Konatar on the left?

Grbic on LW and probably Konatar on RW but Nina Bulatovic has been added to the team though i think she won't even be on bench.

Ayaka Ikehara of Nykøbing Handball looks to have torn the ACL in her right knee, such a shame

Veronica Kristiansen: http://www.vg.no/sport/haandball/veroni ... /24557523/

After the season, the national team player must take a long break from all the handball.

But the article states "three months" - which isn't THAT long after all.
idle banter.

But again a Gyòr-player with an injury, and in a need of a break. And now Nora Mørk is probably moving, and Groot leaving too. Maybe it’s too hard for the players to play in Gyòr for too long. After all the injury history of this club is thought-provoking.

Just a thought :-k

In term of injuries per season, Thuringer is beating all the records. It's even worst than Gyor...

I was thinking about it quite a lot.
As we do not know what are the trainings like or how do they differ from other teams' trainings we cna only guess but it just seems not logical for me to the best team in the world would overuse/ignore the pain/push to the limits their players.
Also Győr has an extremely long and quality bench too so it arguably decreases the pressure on individual level.

My thoughts are rather around the fact that the tempo of the handball became very high and it is a known fact the women's ACL are much weaker than men's. Perhaps the tendencies of the game do not favour women in general.
The reason why it came very much visible at Győr is possibly the combination of the following:
- they are in spotlight
- they are rather under pressure
- Győr has the most quality players who are also top scorers in their NT too i.e. there is a higher possibility for them to get injured

this is also just a thought.

it's not officially confirmed but it looks like season is over for Jaukovic...
And about Khmyrova also, well it turn out that that's not true. So I removed the news.

I don't know where they get their information, but they talk about Achilles tendon which is completely different from what Jaukovic said. They fear it's the knee.

You're right. It's my mistake. It's knee, not Achilles tendon.

Jaukovic lucky. No ACL, but meniscus injury.
She will skip the remaining 3 MR matches and will probably be ready for QF.

Amegas injury yesterday looked liked a knee injury. The replay was ominous.... :-k

Not a good beginning for the post-Groot dutch national team and their play makers.
idle banter.

An MRI scan on Monday will provide information about the injury. First impressions suggested that this is not a cruciate ligament tear. A long absence is still expected.

Mette Tranborg also with a knee injury against Brest. Her reaction (and her teammates' reactions post-game) didn't look good at all.
