RUS - ESP - I expect a Spanish victory here
ROU - DEN - Romania will be crashed big time
POL - HUN - A killer game, Poland will fight for their life, but Hungary will take the 2 points
UKR - NOR - Gromsbö is gone, so this can be a quite equal game, with a 2-3 goal victory for the nordic team

Day 2:
NED - SWE - This will be another clash, Dutch girls are good, but they don't have a decent keeper, so I bet on Sweden
SRB - FRA - Hard to predict, France wasn't so convincing yesterday, Serbia had many problems during the preparation period, so I would say X
CRO - GER - Hosts will win this one, Germany is weak and many of their players are absent
SVK - MNE - Slovak handball is defenitely getting better recently, but they will not stand a chance against Montenegrin defense

UKR - NOR 19 - 32

CRO - GER 27 - 26
SVK - MNE 21 - 31

3 "walk overs" in round 2;
Hungary, Norway ant Montenegro. Especially Norway and Montenegro will win by miles.

Sweden and France will win probably by 2 goals +/- 1.
Sweden are stronger as a team, and France just need to start the tournament, for real.
Denmark will struggle more with Neagu than Norway did, and I won't be surprised if also Elisei arise from the shadows, yet - I do think (hope) Denmark will make it.

The hardest 2 to decide upon is left - looking forward to watch both of them!
I think Spain will manage to pick the longest straw, but not convinced at all.

Would be easy to just go for Croatia after yesterdays sad performance by Germany, but as for their footballplayers - the Germans have this stayer touch that is incredible - and they definitely will want to revenge themselves.
Looking forward to a thriller - but still think the home team will win in the end (sorry, Lineker).

RUS - ESP hard to predict. anyway russia faster than i thought.
ROU - DEN perhaps another norway - romania.
POL - HUN we should win so hope we gona manage this time.
UKR - NOR looks like a training session but because of this it wont be +10 between.

Day 2:
NED - SWE im with the oranje this time, but the reality...
SRB - FRA just predict the only real surprise for this one.
CRO - GER after their lost and the fact that croatia defeated by "sverige", i guess germany needs to order their tickets to home. and at the same time hope the nationalsieben( :D ) will not use susie müller.
SVK - MNE boring.

looking at this pathetic team from 2014 not one single player will make into the 00's squads.

hopefuly they will lose thursday and return home.

let just it be buried where it is after london olympics.

R.I.P RUSSIAN FEMALE HANDBALL.

What a roller coaster!

Great first half, but predictable 2nd. Who can play 60 minutes on such a level? They were good in attack Neagu and Tacalie, but so constly in defence. Well deserved Denmark, very well fought til the end. =D>

Another one bites the dust :)

Ukraine fought well, and kept pace until the second half. It was as predicted that Ukraine wouldn't last, and it ended with 34-23. Business as usual, but if we look back there are several other aspects worth mentioning;

- Silje Solberg grew confidence after a nervous first half, and looks to be ready to be our number one GK. Thank God for that :)

-Pernille Vibe got a red card, and we improved all in all. Hopefully she get a ban for next match (against Denmark). Don't know why she is on the NT...

- Betina Riegelhut got some playing time, and that was about time. She scores easily from 10-11 meters, scored 3 out of 3, so why on earth don't she get more playing time? She is one of the best players in the Norwegian League...

- Same can be said about Maja Jacobsen. Soild and strong player, just use her for christ sake.

- Ida Bjørndalen is a competent player, but on the NT a disaster. She has not got enough playing time to grew confidence and tries too much those few minutes she gets from Hergeirsson. It's almost too late, and if we put her on against Denmark we will fall many goals back...it's like the train already has left the station for her now. Jesus...

- 10 of 14 players playing scored :)

I had a good time, and it's always a pleasure to see these girls in action. Can't wait for Denmark :)

Too bad for Penezic. Over half of the half goals Croatia.
Croatia, like in their own World Championship in 2003, already out in the group phase. [-X

Glad for Germany tho. They have the beste keepers in this Championship, also the best shooters. Steinbach, Minevskaja, Nadgornaja, Lang, Muller & Naidzinavicius. + they have Meitzner at home. =D>

That was seriously the worst performance I've ever seen by a professional team. I'm talking about Serbia, of course. Everyone sucked. Everything sucked. France was actually kinda blah too, otherwise it would have been a 20+ goal difference massacre. Yeah, injuries and all, but it's simply inexcusable to come out and play like that.

Not that surprised that Croatia is out, TBH. It was a tricky group and all their players apart from Penezic seem to be regressing.

My impressions round 2:

Day 1:
RUS - ESP - I kind of liked the new Russia in their first match, second match I haven't seen. Russia lost with only one goal against Spain, but Kleber cursed them for some reason...a bit harsh perhaps?

ROU - DEN -"Everyone" expected yet another slaughterhouse, but instead it was Romania to be unlucky not to win this match. Denmark do not look so solid anymore as they were in the golden league...and I like that...a lot :)

POL - HUN -Glad the host moves on :)

UKR - NOR -More players involved for Norway, and that was important. Grimsbø clearly missed, but even Solberg became more confident as her new role as nr. 1 GK for Norway, and it looks ok before the clash against Denmark :)

Day 2:
NED - SWE -God knows, and many more, but not me...

SRB - FRA -Now this was a shocker. Serbia scoring 3 goals in first half...My God!!! France looks very strong indeed...

CRO - GER -Another shock, but this due to the fact that the host is now kicked out already...not good for the tournament.

SVK - MNE -Yep, yet another shock. Macedonia looks so strong, it's unbelievable. 10-20 HT, before they rested the main players. No team wants to meet MNE in a semifinal, that's for sure
