Stefansdottir & Lunde Borgersen best for Vipers, Mørk for Larvik. They will meet again at tuesday!
Larvik lost last year in the playoff, against Tertnes, but then they were already qualified.

Byåsen - Glassverket 25-31

Larvik HK got their revenge, and won 31-18 (21-7) against Vipers

Yep, but Vipers did in fact win 3 out of 4 halfs of the two matches...still not good enough, hehe :)

Vipers trainer was my highschool trainer in gymnastics btw, Gunnar Pettersen. Be proud man, so close...almost unbelievable :)

Difficult 1st leg, easy 2nd leg for Larvik in the Final. Glassverket will apply for a Wild Card in CHL?

Byåsen, a team which seems to have been around forever in european competitions, will not compete in the Cup Winners Cup this coming season: http://www.adressa.no/100Sport/handball ... 547416.snd

Sad, but their economic is to low, and they have too little attention from the CWC-tournament. If it had been CHL, I guess they would tried to qualify.

Larvik HK will start the Norwegian Leauge next season with -3 points, due their bad economy

Jenny Osnes Græsholt (26) will replace Linka who is pregnant next season in Larvik :)

Not so bad at all really, Jenny was named as the best RW in our top league in Norway for last season, named by the players themselves :)

Replacing Linka is ofc impossible, but this must be the second best choice at least :)

Larvik HK 2015-2016

GK
Sandra Toft (DEN)
Alma Hasanic (MNE)

LW
Thea Mørk (NOR)
Sanna Solberg (NOR)

RW
Jenny Osnes Græsholt (NOR)
Helene Glemming (NOR)

LP
Marit Malm Frafjord (NOR)
Vilde Johansen (NOR)

LB
Kristine Breistøl (NOR)
Frida Bjaaland (NOR)
Hanne Svela (NOR)

RB
Nora Mørk (NOR)

PM
Gro Hammerseng-Edin (NOR)
Anja Hammerseng-Edin (NOR)
Karoline Dyhre Breivang (NOR)
Mari Molid (NOR)

?
Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth Koren, RW (NOR) - pregnant, but think she's going to work hard to make it to Rio.
Alina Wojtas, LB (POL) - injured and Larvik will never rush it, so I assume she will be back early 2016.
Amanda Kurtovic, RB (NOR) - they need to confirm this transfer already.

Side note: Montenegro will be seriously dangerous with Hasanic in the WC and OG. Huge asset!

Are these news correct? Storhamar is currently relegated due to financial issues?

http://www.handball-world.com/o.red.c/n ... 24063.html

Like if loosing B. Riegelhuth and M. Jakobsen was not enough...

100% true. So the players in Storhamar can leave the club. Kamilla Sundmoen would be a scoop for many clubs.

According to this article, Byåsen needs to find one million NOK before the start of the season: http://www.adressa.no/100Sport/handball ... 580462.snd

My Norwegian doesn't exist, but my online translator friend :p says that they secured the first 1 million and are now safe for 2015.

It went online today.

It looks good and it's an example to the rest of the european leagues - if it will stay open for everyone, including us dirty non-Norwegians :p

What happened to this service?

They deleted all games some weeks (?) ago and it's been dead pretty much since. :-k

I think they just deleted all the old games in anticipation of the new season. It is possible that you may have to pay for it this season

Their stream production is great as it is, the best in europe for sure. You probably haven't seen some of the shoddy streams we (if we get anything at all) have to deal with in other european leagues. :p

Let's not forget that we are talking about a tiny fringe sport which doesn't seem to attract more than an average of about 500 (!) spectators into the halls. One really can't ask for much more than we get now.

I think it would be a poor move to make it a paid service and I can't see how this will be economically viable for them if they do go for this route.

Well, they put the archive back up again in the last few days/weeks. =D> Let's hope they keep it free, it would be a shame to lose the excellent coverage of EHF-Cup games we had there last season...

Yes, I do realise that I am talking to myself now. But maybe others are interested as well. :p

http://handballtv.com

The site got a facelift for the new season. It looks very sleek. :thumright: And there is no mention of any pay-per-view for the coming season. Good, good.

It looks very good indeed. And still no pay-option it seems! Like, like, like :thumright:
