The selection is really scary...if the first line players wont have a good form, we are so screwed. I really hope Zamfir will come as second choice after Neagu, I hope that having Ambros Martin as coach will be an impulse for her to prove everyone who didnt want her in the squad that not in a hundred years Perianus will ever be a better choice than her.

There are a few weird selections that clearly prove to me Buceschi is the one who made them (lets say its normal and ok for now, since its a short time since Martin signed). I still wonder how on earth did he choose Gabriela Preda?! She doesnt play much, man! Lorena Ostase will probably not be in the squad, she's a promising pivot. But at this very moment the one who deserved to be on this list is Dana Abed Kader without doubt instead of that big bag of nothing, aka Pintea.

You don't have to worry. They will have to choose only 16 players so I think Pintea/ Kader wouldn't be on that list. Same for Gabriela Preda. Maybe they will take 3 keepers, it's hard to say right now. And Zamfir in defense is as poor as Perianu's offensive or even worse. Ambros Martin will have to work hard to come up with a decent defense which I think will be our weak spot during this tournament. Only Szucs is reliable in defense after Bradeanu's retirement. ](*,)
I thank you in words, not in upvotes.

First tournament after the OG, new coach, quite a few new players. I hope they're smart enough not to put any result pressure on the team, since the results don't matter too much except for future pots allocation. Considering how tough our group is and how tough the MR group will be, I think the realistic goal should be to qualify the team for the MR and see how far they can go from there.

Building a good defence and attacking synergy, and giving all players time to play against valuable opposition within an EC should be their main objectives.

At some time there got to be a shortage of Danish trainers if they absolutely have to train all teams?

I guess he thinks it's time for younger LBs than Linnea. On twitter the swedish sportspress were expecting him to let her go in advance.

Blohm not really looking like a player who's 100% fit and in shape at the moment :-k

Linnea should be there, she way ahead the other left backs in attack and especially in defense + much more experience + more respect from other players
And Ulrika Toft Hansen as well, pretty much the same case vs Anna Lagerquist.

Heidi Løke is pregnant, and will not participate for Norway in the 2016 Women's EHF Euro.

My guess is the second pivot in the squad, in addition to Marit Malm Frafjord, will be Vilde Ingstad (Team Esbjerg).

Dutch team (16+1) players:

Jasmina Janković --- TuS Metzingen,
Tess Wester --- BBM Bietigheim,
Laura van der Heijden --- Team Esbjerg,
Jessy Kramer --- Toulon Saint Cyr Var Handball,
Debbie Bont --- København Håndbold,
Nycke Groot --- Győri Audi ETO KC,
Estavana Polman --- Team Esbjerg,
Yvette Broch --- Győri Audi ETO KC,
Danick Snelder --- Ferencvárosi TC,
Martine Smeets --- BBM Bietigheim.
Michelle Goos --- Buxtehuder SV,
Lynn Knippenborg --- Buxtehuder SV,
Angela Malestein --- BBM Bietigheim,
Kelly Dulfer --- VfL Oldenburg,
Sanne van Olphen --- Toulon Saint Cyr Var Handball,
Lois Abbingh --- Issy Paris Hand,
Maura Visser --- BBM Bietigheim.

No surprises, except for Maura Visser who returns after 5 years, she had somes problems with former coach Henk Groener. New coach Helle Thomson. Hard to give a prediction for the final and semi finals.
Ailly Luciano (Metz) decided to be no longer available for the national team. No player from the Dutch competition, but that is no surprise.

Maybe for the best. From what I saw from her in the Olympics she was far from good enough to play on a national team. Sorry, but I am being brutally honest.

That 's true, olympics she was not good, do not think she would have been selected anyway, WC she also was not selected. Although during OQT (in Metz) she was not that bad.
But for Luciano it 's also a mental/stress issue in the National team, she scored yesterday 8 goals for Metz in the game against Glassverkert 25-19, so qualification for the CL for Metz. Not bad her statistics 8 out of 9, actually very good!

This Swedish coach has apparently no clue about Swedish players abroad?
I dont know this Lagerquist, but Toft Hansen has never ever been better than now. But ofc. since she many years ago made some criticism of Sävehof she has been "in bad standings" in Swedish handball.
And select Sabina J. and not Linnea T. ..... what to say? ](*,)

I want to see MALIN HOLTA (CB) here. She has a very good start with Nantes in France. She is very good and is only 23 years old

At least before she moved to Nantes, she was considered too weak in defense by Thorir. That was the official reason.

Feel like Marta Tomac has had her chances With the NT, never impressed. Also what does Thea Mørk have to do to get ahead of Sanna Solberg?
