He should have attacked himself first for leaving Silje at home.

Well, she wasn't home. She was in Brazil too :p

Trefilov's squad for the tournament in Norway:

GK: Viktoriya Kalinina (Kuban'), Kira Trusova (Astrakhanochka), Elena Utkina (Lada)

LW: Polina Kuznetsova (Kuban'), Darya Samokhina (Lada), Kristina Kozhokar (Astrakhanochka)

RW: Marina Sudakova (Kuban'), Anastasiya Makina (Dinamo)

LB+RB: Vladlena Bobrovnikova, Anna Vyakhireva, Anna Sen (Rostov), Viktoriya Zhilinskayte, Olga Gorshenina (Kuban'), Polina Vedekhina, Antonina Skorobogatchenko (Dinamo)

PM: Darya Dmitrieva, Elizaveta Malashenko (Lada), Karina Sabirova (Astrakhanochka)

LP: Kseniya Makeeva, Alexandra Stepanova (Rostov), Yana Zhilinskayte (Kuban')

Reserves:

Valentina Goncharova (Kuban'; LP)
Yulia Golikova (Dinamo, LB)
Yaroslava Frolova (Dinamo; PM)
Anastasiya Suslova (Dinamo; LB)
Ludmila Postnova (Astrakhanochka; LB)
Mayya Petrova (Rostov; LP)
Ekaterina Ilina (Rostov; PM)

This is a much better looking team than the previous one. Pivots are still not the right ones IMHO.

And Ilina is not in the first 3 PM option in Russia?

I think because this is not the Euro squad, but only for the tournament. I guess she will be in Sweden.

https://www.handbalvolei.ro/42-de-jucat ... romania-b/ . Ambros&Buceschi selected 42 players for the upcoming Carpathian Trophy, where Romania will be divided into 2 teams, Romania A and Romania B ( the last one made up of young players and new faces to the NT ). Still a pretty big number, it will be hard to give them all minutes to play.
Looking at the big names, my squad for the Euro would look like this :

GK's : Ungureanu, Dedu/Voicu. Really tough choice, Dedu has been part of the NT for couple of years now, she's not in the best form these weeks tho', whereas Voicu is just amazing for Dunarea. Dumanska in great shape for Craiova too, but she will be there any time soon, probably not now.
LW's : Iuganu, Florica. Basically no other options given the injuries of Elisei, Tanasie and Hotea, and the 28 preliminary squad that you can choose from. This will be our biggest problem at Euro.
LB's : Neagu, Zamfir, Perianu/Tiron, Szucs. Bebe Perianu has some injury issues these days, but probably if she will be fit then she'll be in Sweden. Otherwise Tiron. Perianu&Szucs mostly for defence, but they've been improving their performances in attack for Dunarea ( especially Szucs )
CB's : Buceschi, Zamfirescu/Laslo. I haven't seen too many U Cluj games recently, but I've seen Mada Zamfirescu doing good for Braila in the NL and EHF Cup. Or maybe Tiron as backup for Eliza if Perianu will be selected, between Tiron, Zamfirescu and Laslo I would go for the first one. Tiron is naturally LB but I guess she could try CB, she's played there before.
RB's : Geiger, Popa
RW's : Chiper, Udristioiu
LP's : Manea, Chintoan

Why are Jelena Grubisic and Marta Zderic not in the croatian squad?
Don't want they to play for the NT team?

It is sure that Zsuzsanna Tomori and Dorina Korsós will miss the EHF Euro 2016.

What about Novović (B. Pavičević)?

No they didn't they just didn't get the call for NT which i think is a stupid idea, since Jovanka can play 4 more years easily and Katarina 2 years, but they want to try with young players which i think is a stupid idea since they are not ready and they showed that in the CL matches. You make changes step by step not like this. They can't expect a generation 96/97 to compete on the highest level when it's not their time. I don't expect much from them i even expect a defeat from Czech republic.

In comes Joka with her explanation:

http://sportclub.mk/index.php/rakomet/24079-radicevic-nema-penzija-i-starost

In short, it was her decision not to play, because of the way she was treated by Adzić (he disrespected her). Probably it is the same with all the others that are not in the team.

I just found the below platform, which summarizes the odds of betting portals for Euro 2016:

So Norway remained the favourite

My opinion about:

1. Russia (if Trefilov doesn't change much)
2. Norway (just because Loke is missing)
3. France

It will be very hard for Sweden to match any of these 3 opponents even if they play at home. I wonder why Hungary is ahead of Romania (I mean no offense to hungarian fans). Both teams are rebuilding imo. The experts...
I thank you in words, not in upvotes.

Deffinitly Russia is first favorite for gold. They have exellent young players and now I can say that they will have great team in Tokyo.Karina Sabirova had great half of a season and I hope that she will play in Sweden.I think that Norway will not take gold this time. They miss their the best players for defense:Molid,Alstad Loke, but they can take silver,Netherlands is third favorite.

Who do you see as the players who are most likely to become the topscorers?

And do you reckon that any surprises might be in the top 5 of the topscorer list?

Besides that i believe in Russia.
