Incredibly important day tomorrow for handball in Aarhus. The meeting with potential sponsors is of course the most important because it will determine the existence of the team, and then the u18 is playing Elite Cup semifinal.

If the team is going to stay, then I think the talent that is currently staying is very good, and it's mostly either from the u18-team or the Aarhus-area. It would be a solid plan to just keep building around the talent we have right now and continue with the talent-development.

The possible players for SK currently on the team or the u18-team:
Amalie Jacobsen (Aarhus & u18)
Anne-Sofie Ernstrøm
Charlotte Lund
Malene Gandrup
Anne Tolstrup (Aarhus & u18)
Majbritt Toft
Julie Pontoppidan (Aarhus & u18)
Emma Mogensen (Aarhus & u18)
Trine Leth (Aarhus & u18)
Katja Ryesberg (Aarhus & u18)
Emma Laursen (Aarhus & u18)
Lea Hansen (u18)
Lærke Sørensen (u18)
Cecilie Thomsen (u18)
Kamilla Bruus (Aarhus & u18)
Stine Kjær Schmidt (u18)
Catherine Csebits (u18)

What a great day. I am 100% confident in the people who are going to run the team moving forward and I, right now, have no doubt that they will do their all to secure the money necessary to move on. The last few months have been quite a roller coaster in Aarhus but right now, the future seems bright.

Talking about the future. Second good moment of the day was SK beating Randers 28-19 to move on to the Elite Cup Final, probably a showdown against FCM.

So it seems Odenses win today against Esbjerg secured CPH a play off spot: https://mobile.twitter.com/JanniMT/stat ... 6001855488 :)

So NFH are sure too, I guess? While Viborg must have been in a round or two back...

Things are starting to get clearer here in Aarhus. Heine Eriksen is the coach for Aarhus United, and I am very excited about that. It's been a terrible kept secret for a while now, but the future strategy is exactly how I want the team to be run. His connections with the youth players in Denmark will be great, and he has already started recruiting players.

Jeppe Vestergaard, the assistant in Randers, will be the coach of the u18-team. I like Jeppe, but he has some big shoes to fill. Thomas Høst is one of the best youth coaches in Denmark and Jeppe will get some very good players to coach. The fact that Risskov Efterskole, Idrætshøjskolen and ESAA will be behind the project is major news for the players, you can attract.

Carsten Andersen is the new director of the club, and the money will hopefully be raised in a short time. It's such a great thing that we will still have competitive handball in Aarhus.

Also. Massive congratulations on Ajax getting promoted to the League. Deserved after a dominating season in the 1st division. It will be interesting to see how they do when they have to play better teams.

Will be good to see these two play against the best competition in Denmark

So no play offs for Randers :(

Silkeborg in the play offs with their win against Odense, and Odense and Esbjerg fighting for the last spot. Crossing fingers for Odense [-o<

Copenhagen winning with 12 away against Viborg :) No fear of the dark Jutland this time 8:) Am Hansen flying, and Viborg is missing Uno badly.

FCM as first after regular season secured CL spot next season?
What's the rule now? 1st and 2nd directly in semis ? 3rd vs 6th and 4th vs 5th in 1/4 ?

1st and 2nd are directly in semis. 3rd place gets to pick who they want to play against in the quarterfinals, and then the two remaining teams will play each other.

Incredible how slow Viborg looked without Uno. They got some pace with Paulsen but they didn't let her play enough. They really need that change-of-pace player in the backcourt.

The new thing is that the playoffs games are best of 3 now (again).

Stine Jørgensen selected as the female handballplayer of the year 2016 by the players in the Primo Tours league, 1st division and Danish players abroad: http://www.haandboldspiller.dk/stine-jr ... iller-2016

Top 3:
1. Stine Jørgensen, FCM Håndbold, 43 %
2. Trine Troelsen, Silkeborg Voel KFUM, 26 %
3. Veronica Kristiansen, FCM Håndbold, 12 %

Yeah, they will have a problem in the play offs, if she doesn't return soon.

FCM crushing Randers today, Veronica, Burgaard, Friis and Højlund with a great match :)

Btw masch1, I just went through the bloody math for your sake to get your hopes high for a possible outcome in the last round.
:) 8:)
It seems that in case of both NFH and KBH wins and a Viborg draw, the positioning of the 3 teams at equal points will be
2. KBH
3. NFH
4. Viborg
if my calc isn't way off hahaha .
This ofc also puts HCO in playoff as 6'th place and Team Esbjerg out . :-"

Haha, nice, thanks :D but I don't really believe much in Copenhagen beating FCM after seeing FCM play today. Not even at home :) and I'm pretty sure NFH will win their match.

It doesn't seem impossible that Odense can beat Viborg at home though, seeing what state Viborg is in right now.

Will be interesting to see if Skanderborg can keep most parts of their team together. They have some exciting players who could easily get offers from league teams. Hopefully the team uses the experience of being in the league this year to be a mainstay in the league in the future.

Correct :!: Since DK still has two CL spots. Additionally its already known that Randers and the two loosing semi finalists except for FCM got the 3 EHF cup spots.
That's why a second place in the main round is attractive providing several benefits.
