I was wondering which club might need that urgently a LB and the only that comes to my mind are Gunaújváros and Fehérvár but yet I woudn't consider any of them a top team. We will see.

You know press no-shame exaggerations ,always ready to sell "bombs".... perhaps a team from first half ...Erd,Vac,Debrecen...who knows....Zalau had prepare match against Kisvardai some weeks ago.

LW Ivona Pavićević is set to leave Budućnost at the end of the season. She wants to play in a strong national league.

With the announced departure of Itana Grbić and the rumoured arrival of Majda Mehmedović, it seems that Budućnost's LW duo as of next season will be Mehmedović and the young Konatar.

Rumour: Beatrice Edwige will probably join Györ this summer. Metz still doesn't have a replacement for her, unfortunate for them that they didn't manage to sign Anna Lagerquist.

Do you think it is normal, that 2 or 3 European teams buy all the NOR, FRA, NED, ROU wold-class players? Even if they have a valid contract? I think, this is not a good direction and not a good example to follow. We can give the title directly to Gyor next year...both Hungarian and CHL...

First of all, it's simply not true, that if you buy good players, you win everything. Vardar and Valcea fans could speak about this. I don't get this "Győr buys titles" thing.

Secondly, no it's not normal. Ideally, there would be 10-15 teams, fighting for the good players and trophies. Unfortunately, there are not too many good teams, but it's not the mistake of the few elite teams. They jut want to sign the best ones. This is, what Győr is doing as I see.

Let me start by saying that I don't blame Györ for buying all the best players that they can get her hands on.
But I wanna draw attention to one thing, which is that as far as I hear, huge companies like Audi get a small tax deduction if they invest in elite sports in Hungary. Which ofcause means that Audi for a relatively small investment in handball can get massive amounts of money deducted from their taxbill from their revenue generated in Hungary(Again I'm neither blaming Györ or Audi here)

Now I dont' know if there are similar rules in Romania or France, but there sure as hell isn't in Denmark. As long as those rules are in place any danish/scandinavian team dreaming of winning the Champions league are at such an dramatic financial disadvantage, that believing in that dream looks like delusions of grandeur(I'm looking at you Odense)

In Romania many teams ( the most of them) are sponsored by the state. In some cases are also private sponsors which give their help but in small percentage. In a city 5% from budget can go to help the development of sport and everyone use this 5% how they think better.
Now if we look at CSM who started in the same way but in few years they managed to have also a lot of private sponsors...i think is the best way to do it. The team has the stability because of the state but not depends only by him. Of course is harder to take decisions, the things are moving slower than in 100% private club.. But in the end I think is better and much more safer.

Speaking of big clubs...is sad that they are not many like in football or even basketball but here is not their fault. Contrary, somebody must to invest in this sport because we're going down. The problem is in the other clubs, "mediums" or "small" who must try to increase their budgets from one year to another... Even if it is with a small amount or with some other facilities but to advance with the time..and not to be happy with their condition.

Long life to handball ☺

If you are referring to the comment about Groot to Ikast, then sure, it doesn't really matter if you have a 1,5 million kroner or 3 million kroner deficit :-"

Can we continue the list? :p On europamester chat someone said Odense.... which seems much more plausible if you talk about a transfer to Denmark.

:D It seems to me that Ikast is unlikely anyway, given that they are somewhat stagnating. :-k
