the only team I think is better to avoid in the semi is Gyor because I feel Gyor is more fragile team than CSM to play two very close matches .... and to play the final in their own home is a big pressure for them.

Before the season I thought Rostov would make it in instead of CSM, but the Romanians made it somehow again.
Congratulations to Metz, they performed great, not needing much to be a top team. And for FTC, great season, but injuries came at the worst moment possible, "nice move" from MKSz putting the Hungarian Cup final4 5 days before the quarters.

I hope for a Vardar-Buducnost, CSM-ETO pairing. The pick for the winner: Podgorica, they seem to be on the right track, huge firepower of course, and solid defense. ETO comes 2nd. I'd like to see them on top of course. AM still has one more month to make their wall even stronger, and having the Tomori-Broch, Amorim, Groot wall is kinda unique. But there are 2 matches in two days, so you should use the reserves also, and that's one thing ETO is short of.

Keep underestimating us and the history shall repeat itself. ;)

Meanwhile, CSM going into this Final 4 is proof that last season wasn't just about luck. București is a strong, experienced squad, we may be unimpressive during the early stages, but in the importants games we show our strenght. =D>

Amorim scored 500 goals in EHF CL.

Here is an list over others that have been goal-machines in EHF CL. (scores taken from EHF.CL)

Anita Gorbicz 832
Bojana Popovic 733
Katarina Bulatovic 714
Linn Kristin Riegelhuth 683
Andrea Penezic 617
Andrea Lekic 615
Alexandra Nascimento 560
Jovanka Radicevic 550
Heidi Løke 545

I guess EHFCL misses some goals of Popovic first matches from 1998-2002 in Buducnost. And its possible others have passes 500 goals, I just checked the obvious ones.
And pretty sure with all score data Derepasko, Logvin, Jurack, Radulovic, Farkas, Fridrikas ++ would be on the list. And other remark is current EHF CL format has more matches than before.

Neagu has 444 if I am not wrong but she only has 7 seasons in Champions League due to injuries (about 3 missed seasons).

Riegelhuth and Görbicz have over 15 seasons.

Surely Jurack and some others are also in the top but EHF is missing the old data.

Totally agree and add that the Hungarian League hasn't finished yet(they have 7 matches left yet). 2 more matches for ETO until Final4. While the other National Leagues have finished almost a month ago.
FTC and ETO players are overused, that's a big disadvantage.

TO MARKO BACSI ......I'm not intending to dash down gas on fire but dear when you said CSM "made it somehow again " isn't this an evidence of your preconceived idea ? Your mind is so venomous by hatemonger that even CSM will win F4 ten times from now one we do this "somehow"....I understood that is your enjoyment spreading around this endless hatefull....you feed from this.

Marco, you don't have to be that irrational, you are not at the level of the xenophobic FTC ultras. You know how to speak English..

CSM kicked both Rostov and FTC (4 wins out of 4!), and honestly this season our route as display was better than in the last season.

CSM 24-21 Rostov
Rostov 20-22 CSM

CSM 30-25 FTC
FTC 26-27 CSM

We also led Gyor TWICE at half time with ease, but yet again I think we didn't have a coach.

CSM 24-27 (13-9) Gyor
Gyor 33-25 (11-13) CSM

Does this FTC-CSM fight have to continue in this topic too? Please end it or continue in PM.

After romanian sport media 66% of CSM's fans want to meet Vardar on semif ; only 19% Gyor and 15% Buducnost....66% means over 2200 votes....Linne Jorgensen will be CSM's player to draw the semis.

The pick of the EHF journalists for the so called quarter-final squad of this year's Champions League:
Paula Claudia Ungureanu (Bucuresti, goalkeeper), Nadine Schatzl (FTC, left wing), Cristina Georgiana Neagu (Buducnost, left back), Isabelle Gulldén (CSM, centre back), Dragana Cvijic (Buducnost, line player), Ana Gros (Metz, right back), Carmen Dolores Martin (CSM, right wing).
A quite good pick in my opinion! Of course I'm glad tot see here 3 CSM București players + Cristina! :D

Stop acting cocky, otherwise we will get the last places. But a huge celebration will start if we defend our trophy. Honestly, a satisfying objective for me would be the final. Even with a silver this year I will be happy with the condition in the next 3 seasons we destroy everything (let's say two crowns). 8:) I can dream, right?

I don't understand you, Romanian fans. Now we aren't that understimated anymore, and even some foreigners praise us.

I am not sure this optimism is good. In the case of the female handball is fantastic, but here all the teams are good. Study, study, training, training... At first sight we can say anything, but Gyor is a complete team at least, Buducnost pretty complete with an always dangerous by herself player Neagu, whilst Vardar has Penezic and normally a better roster than Buducnost although not Neagu! Loss in the first match like Vardar last season, and we are doomed.

Every opponent is a nightmare, especially Gyor that are home. But honestly ETO with that play on a neutral field, probably wouldn't win the trophy this year.
