I wouldn't say it is ridiculous. I don't like it either but there are more paradigms available.
Siófok chose the Győr, Kisvárda line with huge number of foreigners but still there are Budaörs, MTK, Dunaújváros, FTC who chose the other one.
And also there are teams who try to mix the Hungarians with foreigners very well: Vác, Debrecen, Érd.
The fact that we have a slightly weaker NT generation has nothing to with it. The younger generations are just ruling the world so perhaps they take advantage of the quality mercenaries they play alongside.
Also in Siófok's defense we have to mention that they brought up to the first team some nice youngsters: Sárosi Nanetta, Barkóczi Dorina, Takács Eszter, Bozsok Dóra. Similar thing happened at Érd, that is why they have 5 or 6 LBs on the roster.

Life will tell which is the better approach.
At least we can say that the Penezic-Nze Minko-Solberg indicate more quality and logic than buying 12 unnamed soldiers like at Kisvárda. And, actually: OMG, we have Penezic in Siófok???!!
Like Ibrahimovic playing in Puskás FC :)

I see some good trends now. After a lot of money became available, clubs could not not do anything with it and started to spend it without real strategy.
Since then, some things has been changed. Last year, Vác has started to build their team on youngsters, and this year, Debrecen and Fehárvár also cut the number foreign players and kept only 4 ones. This limit is kept by FTC, MKCS, while in some other teams, there are even less. At this moment, only the "strategy" of Kisvárda is totally insane.

The others are more or less understandable. I hope, Győr and Siófok will also utilize the rise of the new Hungarain generations in the future too, but I can live with them at the moment

Maybe the Hungarian federation boss should apply for some rules of foreigners like it is in our league. When you are one of the handball countries and not some Luxembourg, you should definitely promote some local pillars and hot prospects.

Eh? Hungarian government gives money to Siófok, Kisvárda, etc. No need for new rules, the government simply should not give this money to them.
In conclusion, I declare that EHF must be destroyed

It also happens in France in some sports and leagues, Spain the same, I already explained you cannot support sports differently in most of the Europe. Even Scandinavia does it, but the local council sums are really small there.

In Romania many are not well documented and think we could support sports only via private funding. They are retarded, although before we had only a private football league.

Regarding Hungary, even Gyor is supported by the state (although not by the city halls like probably Siofok, Kisvarda etc are) because Audi got privileged with tax cut (it's private on the paper, mostly, and behind it's public). Trust me the foreign companies in Romania don't support sports because they don't have the Hungarian advantages. They usually do it when it's half-half, rarely (oil, gas etc when the money is huge).

Of course some of the foreign companies really help our countries, like in IT here or in automotive engineering there, but those that exploit natural resources are big crooks. Moreover I am sure Audi wouldn't have funded sports without privileges. Foreigners don't care to fund our sports.

@ mimi

The problem is you also need to promote local players and to respond for results. In Siofok they have more Romanians than Hungarians.

Interesting to see that there are only 4 teams that can be considered as mercenary collectives.
This proves that Hungarian fans crying out on this topic is not an issue at all.
The fact that Hungarian junior teams took 2 gold and a silver medal this summer on various championships proves the same.

Thank you for that list. It´s very interesting to see these numbers explicitly - Hungary is really beginning to establish itself as the leader within women´s handball. The strongest league and the most talented youth and junior team. Now the senior NT just needs to step up, but that will most likely happen as a natural consequence of all the great talents.

It's wrong. A female league club may have either 4 foreign players or 3 foreign players and a foreign coach. Do they have more, they must pay.
