We still need another GK in Aarhus. Some of my preferred options would be to "promote" Marie Aas from AGF and let her be the second option behind Thörn. Aas has a ton of potential and has been good for AGF. Sofie Svarrer, who's in Norway at the moment, could also be a possibility. I really liked her as a young player and in SønderjyskE. Now she has matured about abroad and I think she's ready for a return to Denmark and the best league. The last one is a reunion with Lærke Sørensen.

Well Sofie Svarrer is in Denmark right now. You should hit her up and make your case :P

She would be a great addition. My first priority is Aas but would love for them to bring in Svarrer. If she's in Denmark, that would make for even easier negotiations :p

Indeed, she was in Esbjerg today, but it's only a short drive to Aarhus ;)

And that will not be in Aarhus with her going to Skanderborg. That really sucks but I really hope she performs well in Skanderborg because she deserves it. I just really wanted her to be a big part of the future of Aarhus handball. Maybe she can be reunited with little sister in a few years.

Team of the year, as voted for by the players:

Sabine Englert, Herning-Ikast Håndbold
Lærke Nolsøe, Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub
Estevana Polman, Team Esbjerg
Helene Fauske, Herning-Ikast Håndbold
Louise Burgaard, Herning-Ikast Håndbold
Marit Jacobsen, Team Esbjerg
Vilde Mortensen Ingstad, Team Esbjerg

So only one player who didn’t play in the final :-k

So now we likely know why the danish women's final was not worthy of the best referees in Denmark(gjeding-hansen). Apparently they are to referee the hungarian men's final tomorrow. jesus christ ](*,)

So Esbjerg and Rut Jonsdottir both wanna extend their relationship. Jesper says to the local paper, that if Rut signs, then "he doesn't expect that anything else will happen in terms of signings" 8-[

It's quite a surprise to me if they are out of money after signing Rut.

in
Rikke P
Sonja Frey
Marit Frafjord(I count her here since she wasn't part of the initial budget for this season, but she will only have a parttime contract)

out
Maria Mose
Emma Nielsen
Sandra Toft
Kiki Liscevic

No matter how I look at it that should add up to less money paid in wages next season. Unless ofcause Polman needed a big raise to stay.
I'm confused 8-[

Also keep in mind that Vilde Mortensen probably needed a big raise as well to stay.

Maybe, but we already had her under contract for next season and she prolonged it to 2021 back december 2018. So yes a raise, but I doubt that it was a big one

But I just read in the local newspaper that the clubmanager says that there is more players on the way for the new season("der er flere nye spillere på vej til Team Esbjergs trup")

Has there been an official explanation why they dropped the handball award already?

no not really. Only thing I heard is that tv2 pulled out cos it couldn't be guarenteed that the biggest stars in danish handball would attend. My guess is though that there are many more issues

Oh ok, thanks. Well I imagine it could be tricky with the planning, but yeah according to Kristian Kristensen there were probably some cooperation problems as well. I was just wondering, it’s a pity for Danish handball generally although I was very disappointed with it last year.

Jesus Christ, Super Cup on a Tuesday in Næstved. How moronic is that.

Couldn't it have been on the Sunday before ](*,)
