2018/19 Champions League - Main Round - Round 4

"It was a tough job to prepare the match tonight < against Braila >, for the match with Gyor, everyone will be ready, because everyone talks about it. The most important thing now is to recover, to rest and to prepare for Gyor. It's not easy, but without pressure I think we can get something out.
We are a different team now, we play better in defense and we know each other better. It's important to me. Believe in us, encourage us, we will give everything and we will see.
Nothing will change if we win or lose. The big question is where is best to be? The second or third place, "DRAGAN DJUKIC said.

CSM - Gyor 25-27

Gyor shows that is the best team of the moment and won after a rather modest game . And this, only big teams can do.
A plus for CSM in defence (comparing previous matches in CL2019)

How difficult was each initial group stage? It can be discussed, but I think it's interesting to look at how many teams of each group reached the QF stage already:

Group A: 2 (+1 ?)

Group B: 1 (+1 ?)

Group C: 1

Group D: 3

My conclussion: Group D was the toughest, followed by Group A - with Group B and especially C quite a bit behind.
idle banter.
