I'm not sure that her going back in against Cluj made it worse. Sometimes a little bit of judgement instead of too much heart, wouldn't hurt. I'd say this can also sum up Cluj's participation in the CL.

I hope she has a fast recovery!

Well that is Miranda, she always fights for her team no matter what. During olympic quater-finals she also played injured during whole second half-time.
Podravka's physio said she may recover faster because she has strong musculature.

Anna Loerper are ready again, and new and very succesful treatment with here own blood have worked wonders for the player that 2 weeks ago were doubtful for the EC.

Maria Fisker injured her elbow after 12 min of wednesdays league match (not the same elbow as last time apparently) and VHK's website so far writes that she will probably be out for a while.

So it seems likely she is out of EC as well

Viborg summery:

Fisker out for 10-12 weeks so no EC!
Frafjord 1-2 weeks
Chebbah 1-2 weeks
Kurtovic after the EC.

She should have a minor injury before the next match against Randers / Andersen. ;)

Miranda Tatari´s operation of anterior cruciate ligament went well. Doctor said she will probably be back on the court in March or April.

For those who hoped Penecic would play at the EC now she can play a bit and Tatari is out.

She have once again confirmed that she will not be allowed by the doctors they want here to return to handball very slowly.

But there are great news conserning Piedade now there are not talk about if, but when she will return to handball, but there are still a long way and she will have more treatment in Brazil.

Jana Stapenfeldt (Buxtehude SV) got an ankle injury during the match
against VFL Oldenburg yesterday (draw 29-29). I don't know how serious
the injury is. But it could cause a big problem to BSV because Jana is
clearly one of their best player...

After all the other that are already missing (Klein, Melbeck, Bülau, Lamein)... Jana was really great yesterday evening and one decisive factor that they get the draw. At least Bülau seems to return very soon. So it might be "no big difference" at Center Back.

Yes meteo, the return of Randy can help, although it is much better with Jana in the court. :)
And Stapelfeldt can play very well at left back aswell.

She feels good.

An emotional VIDEO interview with her on 22 December.

I will try to translate a good part from this interviw in according to a Romanian handball page:

Brazilian sport had a big scare on the end of September when Daniela Piedade, a handball player from national team was between life and death, which luckily managed to win in this race!
It's impossible to stop their tears after what happened!
Crying, she says: "Handball is the only sport that i love"!
00:45 Journalist: Daniela played in Slovenia, she prepared with her colleagues when a few minutes before the match start feeling some strange symptoms!
Dani Piedade: "I started small simpt dizziness, and trouble of moving me.. I felt like I fell into the void.. it was like a warning of what would happen.. I didn't know what was happening to me.. suddenly it began to flow a liquid from my mouth.. immediately I felt all right side paralyzed and I immediately passed out, I remember I woke up in the ambulance and I thought I will never be able to play handball."
Journalist: Were you afraid?
Dani: "Yes! I was very scared!"
(...)
4:00 After the accident Daniela returned to Brazil, he rested and after 3 weeks and resumed physical training, began to have a normal life like before.
Daniela is ready to get back on the playing field!
4:15: Journalist: It was a quick recovery!
Dani: "Yes! :)"
Journalist: "You have still some symptoms?"
Dani: "Yes a few symptoms .. My leg numbs sometimes. I have still small problems with the arm and a little to hear, but i will recovered 100% soon."
Journalist: "you still go to the hospital .."
Dani: yes! yes! once a week doing physiotherapy exercises for balance and strength exercises.
Journlaist: "2013 will be a very special year for you!"
Dani: "yes, because I am fit in large proportion, and it's a new beginning, I'm ready to get back to the team!"
5:00 Dani: "2016 Olympic Games are something very special for me ... I want to be there to fight with my colleagues, and why not, get a better result!''

P.S: Sorry for my mistakes :)

Leslie are out in the danish media today saying that there will be some time before Aquilar and Berit Kristensen can play again...and as they are the only playmakers they are extremly importent for Randers..

But to be honest I think it is spin, and that they will play against larvik in two days..

That is mainly based on the fact that I for more then a week ago heard Aagren say that Berit was almost ready, and both train with the team I think.

So I call it a bluff...but lets see..

From Odense...it sounds like Pearl will finally play again today, and Trine Nielsen/Jensen maybe a bit in defence..but both have been out for a long time so..
Think I will go for something possitive here - Handball is just a great sport!

From what I can understand from this one http://www.rk-podravka.hr/zivot-kluba/vijesti/1-ekipa/836-sanja-damnjanovi-izvan-terena-mjesec-do-mjesec-i-pol.html (when i put it in google translate) it's a broken (big?) toe, not a thumb. Is that correct?
