Like always, we get the worst. AND NORWAY THE EASIEST. Strangely that this time we didn't get Norway after we kicked their ass, they got poorest seed number 2 and Romania will face hardest opponent from pot 2.

Israel won yesterday against Georgia 31-27, in the first qualification stage. You can watch the replay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0W8uqNJWiQ (first half), https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=800AVDAshgg (second half). Probably next games will be streamed in the same channel.

Re: 2018 European Championship - France
Well, Kosovo under-19 team even played against Serbia two years ago (without anthems), so everything is possible.
Anyway, Kosovo won today 30-19 against Georgia, so everything is ready for the crucial game in Sunday, 17:00cet: Kosovo - Israel. A draw will be enough for Kosovo. There will probably be a live transmission here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8Uy4y ... cYLrLNNrxQ.
In the other qualification group, Faroe Islands beat Greece 25-24, and all they need now is a draw against Finland.

^ The Romanian men's team has already played against Kosovo, but their anthem was not sung before the game nor their flag displayed during the game in the hall.
@Dofer: good luck to Israel!

So Faroe Islands and Kosovo advance to Qualification Phase 2, with Faroe in Group 3 and Kosovo in Group 7. Congratulations to both teams and good luck!

Re: 2018 European Championship - France
Thanks guys for your kind words. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing game by Israel. After a 12-12 at half time, we forgot there is a second half, and Kosovo easily won 32-25. Out star Amit Izak was terrible today, and even got red card after three two minutes suspensions.
Israel's main problem was Kosovo's back players. They are simply too strong and too tall for us. Leonora Demaj was fantastic with 16 goals at 100%.
Usually it's Israeli men who like to stare at blond girls. These time it was Israeli handball players who stared at the blond girl and couldn't stop her.
Too bad there were only a few hundred spectators in the hall, but the Kosovo team totally deserved to win this game.

She was indeed great, but surely did not score everything (even EHF's webpage is wrong with these 100%

Re: 2018 European Championship - France
I should have suspected something is wrong in the stats. According to the official statistics, almost all players in the match had 100% scoring record
Maybe statkeepers in Kosovo are simply good people, who don't want to remind the players that they missed some goals.

I don't think a single womens national game was streamed in June - now they added almost every (?) game in September for Euro 2018. Obviously some changes might still happen until then, but it' looks more promosing this time around.

Maybe EHF did finally realize that you can't make handball popular if you don't let people watch it
