KBH-Silkeborg 31-23 (16-9)
1.half
2.half
Well Copenhagen handball did their job, but I didn't expect otherwise when league top score Trine Troelsen already had checked out for this season for Silkeborg. :? :-"

Viborg HK – Odense HC 21-20 (11-12)
1.half
2.half
Viborg looked really shaken at first, but it's been said a zillion times already and I must just concur : Line Uno's presence has a big impact on Viborgs performance. =D>
OHC was however close to a comeback in the end of the game. :)

Now I just hope for some existing semifinals as well :
FCM-KBH
NFH-Viborg

u18 DM begins on saturday. We have SK Aarhus, FCM, Rødovre and Ajax competing for the title as under 18 Danish Champions.

SK and FCM are probably the favorites to end up in the final, but Ajax do have an exciting team. Ida-Marie Dahl, Stine Eiberg and Stine Nørklit can give any team in Denmark trouble. It will be interesting to see what kind of team FCM are bringing to Sjælland because they have a playoff-match against KBH on saturday. That will probably mean Emma Friis is unavailable for them and they might also be without Louise Ellebæk. If that is the case, then they are certainly not favorites anymore. Those are their two stars.

SK will be in full force, and it will be one final match in the SK-jersey for all of them and several of the players are also leaving, so they want to finish it off right. If Emma Laursen and Lea Hansen can continue their good run of play from this season, then it will be very difficult for the other teams. Those two on the right side is such a dangerous pair. Rødovre is a wildcard but they do have Johanne Farlov, who is considered one of the biggest talents on the leftwing-position.

It will be interesting to see what happens during the weekend. It is hopefully going to be a good tournament.

Do you have any idea why Louise Ellebæk is not part of the U19 national team? She certainly seems to have the quality for it.

I really don't. I remember talking to thomz about it as well because it seems weird that she has never really been considered. If we just consider the talent-aspect, she should probably be one of the safest players on the u19 NT and it's a shame we don't get to see her matched up against the rest of the best in Europe/the World. There must be some reason but from the outside, it's weird.

For the second time and with 62 % of the votes. Kristina Bille is awarded player of the year for 1'st division, also for the second time .

Congrats to Mie even though I think Kristina Jørgensen really should have been the winner. She will have more opportunities to win it though :)

Well done Mie Højlund, when did it last happen (if ever?) that someone won the award twice?

Maybe we should also list the part of the allstarteam (voted by the players) who've been made official so far (the rest will be today):
GK: Sabine Englert (FCM)
LB: Trine Troelsen (Silkeborg)
PM: Veronica Kristiansen (FCM)
RW: Trine Østergaard (FCM)

Semifinals:
FCM-Copenhagen 20-21 (8-9)
FCM: Jørgensen 9, Kristiansen 4, Burgaard 3, Augustesen 2, Blohm 1, Østergaard 1

København: AM Hansen 7, Kragballe 5, Rej 3, Knudsen 2, Bont 2, Føns 1, Svalastog 1 (pretty sure Knudsen scored 3 goals, so perhaps there's a mistake here)

Copenhagen with their first victory against FCM in their 12th attempt =D> Ofc FCM are still big favorites to take the win in the next two matches. http://sport.tv2.dk/haandbold/2017-04-2 ... semifinale

It never has happened, so history has been written by Mie Højlund.

A shame they don't show us the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place like they back in the older days. I would love to see how the votes end up.

I know you wanted the other candidates, but something a bit related to that is the % of the votes for the all star team, which can be found here: http://www.haandboldspiller.dk/resten-a ... 62017-kret

Btw, I agree that it's a shame we don't get to see more info about the votes.
