Re: Injuries

UPDATE

Apparently, Ema Ramusović’s injury is not as serious as it looked initially, so she’ll remain part of Montenegro’s WCH squad. It is not clear when she’ll be ready, though.

Sorry for the confusion, but I just report what I see in the media.

Re: 2017 World Championship - Germany

How many players are allowed on the final roster - 16 or 18? I'm asking because Montenegro and Serbia are each taking 18 players to Germany, so I wonder if all of them will be part of the team for each game.

Also, Serbia were without Stojiljković and Dmitrović in this second match, along with Krpež Slezak and Tomašević.

Unfortunately, yes. RBs Malović and Premović both suffered injuries against BBM's defence, but hopefully there won't be major consequences.

Re: WRHL 2017/2018

That's just wishful thinking - Buducnost obviously can't afford a better squad that it has now. And that's perfectly fine, as many European clubs have been going through financial difficulties over the past decade, but have remained on the big stage. ('"Financial difficulties" is probably ...

What was the practice in previous EHF matches played in Macedonia? Did the national team of Macedonia appear as F Y R Macedonia on the scoreboard or in official reports?

Re: Players' naturalisation in women's handball

I don't think such a rule could prevent nations such as Qatar from buying players, as they are increasingly setting their sights on younger players. I believe a more reasonable rule could be that a player should have a relevant link with the country they represent.

No, they think the EHF did this on purpose, because they were whining about the Danish refs in Flensburg, which is sponsored by a Danish company.

In all this mess, I must note that Scandinavian media are particularly rejoicing in the disgraceful behaviuor of a bunch of hooligans. By comparison, I haven't seen such a thorough analysis of "Eastern European fans" in Romanian media, for example.

Re: Champions League 2016/2017 - Main Round - Round 4

After tonight's match Jovanka Radicevic lost the respect i had for her. If people tended to lose respect so easily, then I guess the human race would have been at serious risk of extinction by now. Joka was obviously overwhelmed by Andrea's loss and reportedly spent the night helping her friend wit...

I didn't want to sound rude, but you can't just call everyone playing handball at a professional level. I mean, some star players such as Riegelhuth have not been selected, and let alone Bjorndalen.

Re: 2016 Women’s EHF EURO (Sweden)

Ida Bjorndalen. Have you, by any chance, noticed that the oldest player called up for Norway is 31 (Grimsboe)? Frafjord is still 30 and the rest are 26 or younger. And you suggest inviting 33 year-old Bjorndalen, who probably doesn't remember herself the last time she played on the NT and who by th...
