Great to find out something new about Italian Women League. I wold like to ask you how Romanian girls are doing over there. I've already spotted Roxana Stanisor, Bianca Opritescu (i know her since she was a junior) or Marilena Patru (all 3 ex Oltchim). Roxana and Marilena are older, they have handba...

Georgeta Teodora Dinis Vartic. That's her complete name! You can check http://www.frh.ro the click on the following links in this order: LOTURI NATIONALE (up in the right) > SENIORI > FEMININ > ECHIPA By the way, how is she doing lately? I see Nurneberg is doing quite fine (My God beating Togliatti ...

Romania continues it's crisis. I guess the refs weren't so great (I didn't see the match), but the this isn't by far the excuse our girls or our officials should invoque so they can all get cleared. We are in deep s**t at the feminine and there aren't great perspectives for the future either. By the...

Goalkeepers 1) Luminita Hutupan-Dinu, Krim Ljubliana 2) Paula Radulescu, Hypo NO 3) Ildiko Kerekes, last time I've heard she was at Cornexi (PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong) 4) Ionica Munteanu, Leipzig 5) Tereza Tamas, Silco...

Fox, Starmaker's right. Otelea is a dinosaur. He had his greatest performances while coaching the men NT in 1990. I'm actually surprised he is still standing as a coordinator of our NT!!! As Star said he had his chances but he only managed to worsen the situation! There also are very serious doubts ...

I saw BSV Buxtehude against Oltchim in Romania. I saw the results of Bayer Leverkusen so far so I guess it's an all German final in the ChC.
But who knows, maybe Dijon (especially) or Split Kaltenberg can provide some surprises.

Romanian NL is one of the weakest leagues in Europe (when I say Europe I'm reffering to countries with tradition in handball). Let's not mix up the capacity of growing up talents, promoting them into the senior handball and having a great league. Romania has only one of these three features: GROWING...

Welcome to Romania! A country where it's OK to give irresponsable statements without being endangered in any way! Practicing "Irresponsability" is actually our national sport. Now do you understand why don't we get to win anything, not only in worldwide handball but in sports, and life in general? G...

Norwayboy, the infos from the pm were the best i could provide. But they are close to reality; don't be surprised if Rapid will play only a maximum of 9 or 10 players for the whole game. The other girls you are asking about are mostly unknown and i have no info on them. Sorry couldn't provide with m...

Avadanii was called for the games, but she was a bit injured. Anyway coach Tadici said that she didn't do 100% of what she could give under these conditions. He wasn't upset on her but preffered to send her home. Regarding Varzaru and Dobrin, Tadici said that those two don't need testing tournaments...

You are right about how Avadanii got to play for Rulmentul.
And she is indeed oneof the great wingers playing at the moment. I didn't argue the opportunity of her living for DK, it's just that I think the transfer won't be so easy to solve as some may think.

I don't know if Avadanii's contract finishes at the end of the season. She signed with Brasov only at the beggining of this season, being brought there by M. Tarca. It's quite a discussion here about the interest to build a powerful team in Brasov, in which case there will be discussions with M. Tar...

Good statement makiavelli. norwayboy I'm a great fan of Oltchim. I would like to add only one thing: Oltchim named a new coach last week - Aurelian Rosca (ex second coach of Romania these last 4 years). Buxtehude might have a slight advantage, but the game will be quite equilibrated. We have home so...

yes, lately we had news from DK and RO in large proportions. I think it's good that these news travel this way round the world but we could use some news from other countries with or without tradition in HB. So please cooperate because I assure you, we all are interested in handball.

Yes I remember that sad game. Our young players showed thaen how internationally unexperienced they are and they missed a total of 7 7m shots that game. Then you beat us in Skopje too,but as I recall that game was heavily contested. Actually it would be quite interesting to hear the Macedonian versi...

In Romania we have 4 categories of juniors (ranked 1 to 4 in decreasing order of their age). They first play a group phase (groups made on regional criteria), then play a semifinal group stage and finally a Final Tournament. As some stated before me the finnancial situation isn't so great for RO sen...

I'm sorry to hear this. It's sad everytime a team has to forfait due to financial problems. it's even more sad when a giant is killed in such a manner. Oltchim Rm Valcea played them some 2 years ago in the EHF Cup. We eliminated them (Radnicki JugoPetrol isn't it?) but they still played some decent ...
