Re: The Danish League 2009/10

So now it's for certain:

Gro Hammerseng and Katja Nyberg will leave FCM from next season along with Line Fruensgaard, Mette Sjøberg and Sara Hansen

Re: The Danish League 2009/10

Another positive remark is for Anja Andersen. Not because of her coaching skills, but she seemed more humble today and actually said nice things about the opponent, which is rarely heard before. She also showed a nice gestus by going into the stands and said hello to all FCK-fans. All 20 of them :l...

Re: Transfers and... (09/10)

About her going to FCM I read somewhere, that they are not allowed to sign contracts right now due to financial problems, so they probably won't be buying. Wow, I guess they really made a joke of my words there :-" But they found a way around the problem, good for them.. so Lærke and TT on the...

Re: Transfers and... (09/10)

Trine Troelsen has left SK Aarhus just 2 days before the Cup Final! Not surprising that she left i guess, she did sound really displeased with her team and the lack of information on the financial problems when they interviewed her about it during the Wc.. I was actually a bit surprised she spoke s...

Re: WC in China - Final & Bronze medal match

I am happy with not seeing a Danish NT coach being confused of placing rules on public TV as in EC2008, although some Danish TV journalist still are.

Yes, we're making progress here =D>

Although, maybe we should just win all the matches and then no mathematics would be needed ;)

Re: WC in China - 1/2 finals & placement matches

Yes, but have you heard that Rikke Skov said she may be willing to consider returning to the NT if she can stay clear of injuries.. Then what would you do? Who's in and who's out? http://vmkh2009.tv2.dk/article.php/id-27227331.html This article might imply that Skov will return. She tells that she ...

Re: WC in China - 1/2 finals & placement matches

5th is totally ok regarding you lost Lærke Møller as your most valuable player right from start :) Yeah...she is very talented and she was with team in Århus and Macedonia last year, but it did not help so much in some cases. She was very young then and has improved ALOT (not that she was bad befor...

Re: WC in China - 1/2 finals & placement matches

So today we had a nice win. The Danish girls were more motivated than the Koreans and they were in total control for 40-45 minutes - with a +9 goal lead - but then they relaxed and you can´t do that against a fast-paced Korea, who almost caught up with us in the end. But just to evaluate on this WC...

Welcome Denmark for the 5th place game. Quite a long time no see. Thanks we've missed our south korean friends/rivals too - just wish it had been the finals we were playing for  But in all fairness russia just is the better team - for now.. we don't have a broad enough bench and the mental asp...

[quote="I.L.T."]Great news for Danish handball, SK Århus have been saved, a new sponsor have given 2 mill DKK, app. 300.000 euros. So if the players agree 25% reduction af salery it schould be sure the club will continue. I'm very happy that they will apparently be able to save it (though ...

Re: The level at this WC

A lot of the teams are building up towards the olympics and many good players are not even participating, so this is probably part of it.. It does make it more exciting, yes, especially since it was really tiresome to watch norway play these later years with no real opposition.. Still I wish the dan...

Re: Your favourite match

Olympic final Atlanta 1996 by far - I was 11 years old and remember it like it was yesterday. We were on our way home to DK from sweden, watching the match in a ferrie department hall and right when Anja Andersen missed the penalty shot we had to leave to get on the ferrie, we were screaming all the...

Re: WC in China - Mainround DAY 1

Denmark - Austria 30:27 (15:16) Yep, Denmark won today, but what a lousy performance. You could tell by Melgaard´s expression after the game that she was not happy. Actually it was the Austrian girls who celebrated the most, even though the result will most likely put Denmark in the semifinal. When...
