Re: International friendly matches

Now it's official that these girls plus Andrea Klikovac, Ivana Bozović and Ema Ramusović will represent MNE in Sweden. So no Katarina Bulatović, Jovanka Radičević, Marija Jovanović, Sonja Barjaktarović, Andjela Bulatović and Biljana Pavićević. The main plan is to beat CZE and play the MR but as the...

Re: Danish League 2016/2017

Great start of the league so far. Last year all the serious injuries of young Danish talent sort of ruined the fun, but this time it appears that we will see many high quality teams with a mixture of talents and established Danish NT players combined with a few strong foreigners. We just need to get...

Re: Players who will finish with their careers

This is true. I also want to see players like: Mireya Gonzalez (RB) , Almudena Rodriguez (RB), Ana Martinez (LB) , Judith Sams (PV), Estela Carerra (GK), Anna Manaut (RB), Africa Sempere (PV, LW), Bea Escribano (CB), Silvia Arderius (CB), Amaia González de Garibay (LW), Paula Valdivia (RW), Nerea E...

Re: Danish League 2016/2017

Like the rest of you guys I really look forward to the upcoming season. Not least to see some of the best Danish players and talents back again after their knee injuries - most of them will be back right before or right after the season starts. Lærke Christensen (SK Aarhus), Simone Petersen (FCM), L...

Re: 2016 Women's Junior U20 WCh (Russia)

The Russians girls are clearly favorites. Many good individuals and they play at home. Romania should be in the contest as well, you have to be with Bazaliu in the team. Germany also quite solid and they have Emily Bölk on leftback. I was surprised Denmark won the U19 EURO, because we do have a good...

Re: Are the televised games on TV2sport fairly distributed between the sexes when you compare their viewership?

For me it´s pretty clear that TV2 has an agenda of promoting men´s handball, because they are of the opinion that it´s a better product than women´s handball. This started some seasons ago and they have been relatively successful, because the gap between the number of viewers watching the two league...

Overrated: Veronica Kristiansen, Andrea Lekic, Valentina Ardean Elisei, Nathalie Hagman, Sandra Toft (these come in mind for now) Yes, thank you! I have NEVER understood why everyone - especially in Denmark - has always seen Sandra Toft as the biggest talent and all coaches and experts take for gra...

Re: Transfers 2016/2017

Lærke Møller and Team Esbjerg is a perfect fit in my eyes. A quality team for a quality player. And Lærke won´t have to play 60 minutes each match, so her body can get the breaks it needs.

and borschenko? Borshchenko continues to play for her native country. Good for her! I´ve never been a fan of these naturalizations. This reminds me of the old discussions we had on this forum 10-12 years ago regarding the Austrian national team - I have always been puzzled by the fact that a lot of...

Re: Promising players - potential stars

I think the brightest stars have already been mentioned and I agree with the choices. Focus on Denmark I would mention the following players that I´m quite certain will be future NT-players: Mie Højlund , 1997, leftback, Randers HK. She pretty much decided the U19 EC semifinal and final this summer....

Sweden with 2 points 4. Norway with 0 points Norway-Denmark 23-31 Sweden-Russia 24-29 Norway-Russia 29-31 Sweden-Denmark ...

Barbara Arenhart to Storsatsende (!) alongside some very known Danish players. does this team have big ambitions? Nykøbing Falster Håndbold (NFH). Re: Danish League 2014/2015

The season is almost over and looking back at the results from the European competitions had me thinking: Is the Danish League still the best league in the world? I would say it depends on the criteria. The top level of the very best team/teams - or the overall level of all 12 teams in the champions...

Re: 2015 Women's Junior U19 EURO (Spain)

Two questions: Despite being in U18 age, Gabriela Toth played the U20 WCh in 2014. Will she play at this U19 Euro? I would say yes, for sure. She played qualification, which was the first event she had with the Hungarian 96/97 team. So it seems there is a will to integrate her into the team. Then H...

Re: 2014/15 Cup Winners Cup / EHF Cup / Challenge Cup

The day after I´m still a bit puzzled by the fact that Tvis managed to trash Rostov with 13 goals. Especially considering the half time score was 12-12. It appears that the Russian teams cannot handle the style of handball that Tvis plays. First taking out LADA despite two away games and now this. R...

Re: Transfers 2015/2016

So what? She's still young and didn't play for any strong team till now to be well known. If we write transfers from all small clubs one by one, this topic will start to be boring. #-o How does one define which transfers are relevant and which are not? Kelly Dulfer is perhaps the most talented Dutc...

Re: Danish League 2014/2015

Before the game Viborg-Esbjerg tonight there was an interview with Bella Gulldén. Which language did she speak? Was it Danish or Swedish? She spoke Swedish, but tried to incorporate some Danish words to make it more understandable for the viewers. It is quite common when Scandinavians communicate -...

Re: 2014/15 Champions League - Main Round - Round 2

No relation between Rikke Vestergaard Poulsen and Jakob Vestergaard as far as I know. Vestergaard is a very common name in Denmark. Of course it was quite embarrassing to watch Viborg in Larvik yesterday. Playing with three (not very talented) teenagers and a defender(the pivot Kirsten Balle) in att...

Re: Transfers 2015/2016

After this EURO it seems pretty obvious that it´s time for Isabelle Gulldén to leave Viborg HK. Re: EHF EURO 2014 - Main Round - Day 2

I agree that Lazovic really should feel remorse. The foul was WAY to hard and should have been a red card. But I don´t think - in any way - that it was her intention to hurt Polman. Lazovic is a good defender, but she should tone it down quite a bit. It was no coincidence that it was her tackle that...

But regarding this specific tournament, I actually had a bad feeling despite the positive results in the preparation matches. There were different i...
