But she is so good player for Ikast. She is weak in defence, not winner-menthality. Maybe it is beginning of the end of Ikast???

Ikast boss Frank Henriksen says she has more defence skills than Milanovic, and she has a huge winner-menthality, so I guess you're wrong there.... ;)

Otherwise they wouldn't have signed her...

Ok, no problem for me at all. It is Ikasts business. Time will show would it be good investment or not. 8:)

It's not like Ikast is doing great now. It can only get better.
I don't think tere's anything wrong with herwinner mentality, it can only be better than Ikast's long time looser mentality. If you look at Ikast's player material the past many years, they have not done all that well.

News from the Aalborg DH soap opera:

1) Aalborg DH's right wing Louise Pedersen has been rented out to Slagelse DT for the rest of her contract period from January 2008 and the rest of the season.
http://sporten.tv2.dk/haandbold/article ... 59684.html

2) Aalborg DH's managing director Erik Just has been fired by the club owners after long time public arguments in the medias between the two parts.
http://sporten.tv2.dk/haandbold/article ... 20445.html

3) Rumors says the owners has contacted the previous Aalborg coach Jan Leslie two times in the past week to try to hire him as new headcoach instead of Leif Gautestad. But Jan Leslise who is currently assisting coach for Skjern's mens team said no.
http://sporten.tv2.dk/haandbold/article ... 28989.html

4) After this Aalborg instead tried to hire Chirstian Dalmose this friday and asked him to be coach already the following day, but he also said no. This has been confirmed by Dalmose himself. Dalmose is currently head coach for the male team Ajax Heroes in the 2nd best Danish league.
http://sporten.tv2.dk/haandbold/article ... 24063.html

5) Rumors says the owners ordered current headcoach Leif Gautestad was ordered by the owners to give full playing time to Natalia Deriuguina and Tanja Logvin this past weekend, and in response Gatutestad took Natalia Deriuguina and Tanja Logvin completely of the team for that match.

Carmen Lungu can got at any team in Europe, but not from Romania.
This is the decision of EHF, is not official.

If is true, will she go back to Slagelse? :D :?:

There are rumours that she is heading back to Slagelse but it is for from decided yet.

With Lungu, Rotis, Milanovic and Batinic there should be plenty of strenght in the back court. Even though I miss a superstar like Postnova......

Mads W, don't be too greedy  But off course Postnova will shine in any club she signs with, but hounestly, I think Slagelse would get too many "Star-Quality"-players with also Postnova.. Then Rotis maybe will return, cause with Milanovic, and maybe Postnova and Lungu, plus Batinic at RB, there'll be plenty of quality in the backcourt...

Wtih Louise Pedersen as RW, Turey might still be in the backcourt as either LB or PM....

I wouldn't like that Lungu come back in SDT...

Batinic will be on the bench (not so much but...) with no possibility to improve more... Because this year is her best !

Hehe I can't help myself. :D Well the reason I mentioned her is because I now Anja is trying hard to get her to the club. So in that sense it is a possible scenario in the future....maybe.. About the many stars. I think Anja can handle star mentality. But of course problems could occur.

Bo$ko wrote:I wouldn't like that Lungu come back in SDT...

I do not think so. Lungu will play her favorite position as left back, right now, Slagelse has no LB at all. It is unsure when and if Rotis will be ready.

Batinic has shown her worth now to Anja Andersen I am sure. Her problem used to be her stability, which she has improved. But nice to hear that you have Slagelse sympathy Bo$ko. :D

Most likely with Lungu back, we will have this scenario:

3 leftbacks. Rotis, Lungu and Milanovic. I think they will be prioritized like this:
Lungu
Rotis
Milanovic

We have got 1 playmaker, Kroghshede.

2 left backs
Batinic
Bulatovic

(I did not bother mentioning Cubela and S. Pedersen)

So if this is the upcoming scenario for next season, presuming Postnova won't come, Anja will have to school one of the LB as playmaker; for I don't think any of the three star players will enjoy sitting on the bench all the time. IF Postnova comes then she will be playmaker together with Kroghshede which would put Lungu back on RB.

Rotis
Milanovic

Postnova
Kroghshede

Batinic
Lungu.

Quite a frightening team I would say. Especially when you've got Savic, Turey, Louise Pedersen, Melgaard and Leganger as the players on the other positions. :) But this is all guess work of course.

The 31-year old double Olympic gold winner Lotte Kiærskou stops as assisting coach in Randers HK after this season becuase she's going to have her second child.
Kiærskou's first born child Karoline is now 2 years old.
Kiærskou considers returning to her old civil career as a school teacher again after her maternity leave.

One weird question:
"If a man change his sex into a woman, would he be able to play in a woman handball team???" :D
