Rulmentul must have been really good last year, because Santa Claus brought them very good opponents all season
So, a trip for San Sebastian wit the return game in Brasov and Tarca looks closer and closer for the second CWC final of her coaching career!

Very nice draw for Rulmentul. I am very surprized about this draw, because usually we got the whorst enemy :)).
I would have prefered to go to Koprivnica, but maybe in the next round :)

Let's not underestimate Bera Bera, eventhough they are the best opponent we could get!

Last year LHK beat Podravka 32-27 away, and 36-28 at home...they are simply not in the same class as LHK :)

However, Bøhn consider Podravka as a better team than Rulmentul BTW...

 OMG!!! It's the first time this season when you admit directly that Brasov has a real strong team!!! I am shocked! Isn't anyone at ORV club checking your posts here? maybe you'll receive a penalty

Anyway, I consider Podravka way less strong than Brasov as long as they had serious problems with Cluj, which is a fine team, but not so powerful.

Check statistics for CL from last year when they played in the same group and neither Nyberg nor Haarsaker were in club. ;)

Trainers always say that their actual opponent is very strong, in order to have a reason for defeat, if this happens :).
I'm quite sure that he is glad that he doesn't have to play with Rulmentul in the semies :)

The girls are in a good mood before the match against Podravka today at 18:00. Only Sara Breistøl have some problems, but the rest is fit for fight :)

Riegelhuth looks less and less impressive each time I see her play.

Akaba Bera Bera - Rulmentul Brasov 28-27

Bad game for Rulmentul, especially the second half. They were lucky that they had Spirova (round 45% saves). I saw interesting schemas in attack but too many missed shots. Neagu was the best scorer but she also missed a lot. Gogarla was quite absent today... I can say that Brasov misses Vizitiu a lot.
Something has to do with that defense, we had a lot of expulsions !

Bera Bera - not an impressive team, I think Brasov will win by five in the second game - only if they won't play as they did today.

But as much as I'd wish, I don't think that they are able to win the CWC.

Podravka won 29-27..
Larvik had a 6 goal lead at one stage of the game but dissappeared from the court after the 40-th minute..
3 minutes before the end they had 2 players more on the field and still couldn't score..
Podravka played a great defence in the final 20 minutes of the game..
if they can repeat that defence (which I doubt) then they have chance in Norway also but Larvik is a better team...

Larvik was up 17-11 at one point, actually that's when I started watching. Apparently they were destroying Podravka with fastbreaks but after that it was just an inexplicably bad performance by them. Rantala was good.

any norwegian can explain to me wether i am wrong when assuming that norwegian coach didnt use some best players in the last minutes.... i had that feeling when seing some stupid and uncreative play in the end... also i think the croatian commentators were asking the same question....
