A Romanian paper says that Romanian players Ildiko Barbu, Cristina Dumitrescu and Alina Jula, all 3 from Itxako are having problems obtaining visas from the Russian Embassy in Spain because their passports will expire in 3 months time. It looks like they need to come back all the way to Romania for new papers.

Don't know how are they doing there, but from what I knew when they left Romania, Barbu is a very good goalie, Dumitrescu can be a top scorer while Jula is a very tough defender. So one of them not playing in Russia, could be a big blow for Itxako.

Una vez más como ya sucediera hace dos temporadas en la visita a Krasnodar en Rusia, las radios desplazadas hasta Volvogrado no podrán contar con los medios adecuados para la retransmisión del partido y tendran que realizar la misma por medio de los telefonos móviles. Una pena que en una final de la EHF no se pongan los medios por parte del equipo ruso para que los periodistas puedan trabajar adecuadamente.

So i guess if Itxako loses they will blame on this.

Well Kochetova didn't play,injuried then you have the explanation for this result....if she doesn't comeback for second leg itaxko will win the trophy.
