makiavelli is right. It's enough to see the team past Belarus, but we will have another shaky WCh representation.

Gatzel, Vadineanu, Tacalie, Vizitiu, Tolnai seem to be "unsuitable" for the NT. I wonder of this has anything to do with their situation at Oltchim. Where are those who contested Tadici's selection? I wonder what are their thoughts about this group?

I also wonder what will become of Ada Moldoveanu or Carmen Cartas if they weren't selected against such a weak opponent.
I also wonder if any of the Junior girls will ever be selected: Branzan, Dinca, Jerebie, Babeanu, Teodorescu, Ivancu and probably many more.

Ada is selected Mikh. From that list I'm against Lecusanu, Stanciu and Soit.
If those players will be loaned from Oltchim (Gatzel, Vadineanu, etc.), do you think if it's considered that Oltchim doesn't need them  (idiots, idiots, idiots), they will surely believe that the NT does????
Why do you ask for Tolnai, and not Munteanu, who had a great season?
I contested Tadici selection but I didn't asked for Voina, sorry. I asked for something better, not another idiot. At least this one is stupid without making a circus.

From my point of view:

Munteanu instead of Stanciu
Gatzel instead of Lecusanu
Cartas instead of Soit

And that's all. Of course Lecusanu in a good day has a very nice combinations with the LP but I don't remember her last good day. When you see that your game is slowly going down, at this age, you should retire. Soit, a joke. Cartas hasn't got any chances in an official match and she deserves one. Stanciu, oh my God, does somebody really watches this girl playing?

I also agree that there are some players there that shouldn't be...
Soit - didn't showed anything good until now.
Geiger - :-k I don't know... zero in defense, sometimes very good in offense.
Meirosu - two good matches then five bad
Lecusanu - very slow

Regarding the keepers, I'm not against Florentina Stanciu but I'm surprised to see there Smedescu. There are many keepers better than her in Romania !

Who are these girls? Any infos about them? Especially no 19 on the list.

Mette Iversen has been the 3'rd GK choise before and has been doing ok this season. She has kept Swedish NT 2'nd choise G. Kain on the bench. Viciuos minds would infer that the GOG coach is her husbond :| .
Susanne Kastrup was invited to the 3 nation games against Montenegro and Rumania and did well, and has been doing good in Kolding this season also. She is a real fighter =D> .
Okkels and Bajic are prosperous youngsters. Best link is :

No, not yet. I don't know about prep. matches. I'll keep you updated.
Last week the squad was assembled in camp with U19 for physical testing and theoretical stuff. Leibzig and Aalborg girls were not there, due to obvious reasons.

Slovakia will play without Glankovicova (Leverkusen) #-o . She got arm injury in Bundesliga final in Leipzig and is now, unfortunately, "ready" only for the surgery. :(

EDIT: left wing Terézia Szollosiová (ŠKP Bratislava) & right back Patrícia Puškášová (Slovan Duslo Šaľa) joined the team.

How serious is that injury? How much time she won't play?

Yes, very poor for both teams. Leverkusen has return match next monday. She was in a good shape the last weeks.

@Bosko: I think that the "season" is over, but I try to get more informations in the next days.

Rotis-Nagy will not play against Macedonia. She said that she needs some rest because of her shoulder. From my point of view the wrong decision - with two good matches she could have awaken interest of clubs. Or does anybody know where she will play next season?

I read there is Mateja Urch in the Austrian squad. She has typical Slovenian name and surname (Urh). There is a Slovenian minority in Kärnten (Carinthia). Anybody knows is she from that bundesland? In which clubs has she played? And is she a good player?

On paper Macedonia looks stronger than Austria.

But other circumstance will decide this. Everyone knows that referee will help Austria in this one, would be very naive to believe that we live in a clean handball world  . EHF = Prokop = Austria.

But also for the first time ever our NT is with out preperation matches before a world cup play of.

But also our girls do not practise for a week, they are on strika and wait for the promised money for the 7th place at the EC.

Dragana Pecevska injuryd.

With all the s**t everything but an Austrian WC ticket would be a major sensation.

Our handball federation have become a total joke with the new handball president, very expected.

First friendly:

Slovakia - Czech Rep. 28-28 (14:11)

7m: 6/5 - 6/6, 2 min: 3 - 4, 500 spectators  .

SVK: Vaverková, Grandtnerová - Halásová 2, Trochtová, Súkenníková 1, Hodošková 1, Szollosiová 2, Z. Janšáková, Jakubisová 4, Dubajová 9, Pajtášová, P. Popluhárová 5, Puškášová, Beňušková 1, M. Školková 3.
CZE best: Kysučanová 6, Zámorská & Tomečková 5...

We played without girls from Hungarian league (goalie Tothova, winger Stuparicova) today. Czech republic equalized at last second.
