Well, Angola and Korea did a good performance at last WCh. Sseding seems to be a mixing between WCh 2007 results (continental places) and the results of the continental competitions
Pot 1: Title def, EUR 1, EUR 2, EUR 3
Pot 2: EUR 4, EUR 5, ASIA 1, AFR 1
Pot 3: EUR 6, EUR 7, ASIA 2, EUR 8
Pot 4: EUR 9, EUR 10, AFR 2, ASIA 3
Pot 5: ASIA 4, AFR 3, AFR 4, Pan 1
Pot 6: ASIA 5, AUS 1, Pan 2, Pan 3
If we look from this point to the seeding and take the results of the last ECh, AsiaCh, Afrika-Ch into account than the seeding look like this.
RUS, NOR, ESP, GER
ROU, CRO (France got this spot), KOR, ANG
MKD (Austria got this spot), HUN, CHN, SWE
UKR, DEN, CIV, JPN
THA, CGO, TUN, PAN 1 (BRA?)
KAZ, AUS, PAN 2 (ARG), PAN 3 (DOM/PAR?)
The only question in my eyes is why is China as Asian Runner-up in the third pot and not in the fourth. Maybe this is their home ground advantage. Every other seeding belongs to this logic. So, the only point to be discussed is the drawing pots of China and Ukraine (who could swap pots)
