Sportal reports that Krim is seriously negotiating with Emilia Turey (FCK).

3 NEW YEARS IN LARVIK HK!
Thea Mørk is also ready for Larvik HK (Yes, sister of Nora Mørk.)
So far Larvik got:
Katja Nyberg, Gro Hammerseng, Amanda Kurtovic, Thea Mørk and Linn Kristin Riegelhuth.
Leganger are still free, and they want here too.
I think for the next year i want a CL final Larvik-Oltchim.
I love norwegian handball and i love so much Larvik (Especially Heidi Loke

Re: Transfers and... (09/10)
Kurtovic perhaps leave Larvik HK before even she have played a singel match for them, the reason is that she see's it difficult getting playing time when day allready have 3three lefthands(Sulland, Mørk, and Riegelhuth) + Breivang already.
Byåsen still wants her, and they have been in contact lately.

That's the positive spin clubs put on it instead of saying the much more negative worded: "we can't afford expensive stars anymore, so instead we just buy cheap young and unexperienced local players".
Just two different ways of saying the same thing, but one sounds a lot more positive than the other when they announce it to investors, sponsors, fans etc.

Btw. Dóra Deáki signed her new contract then travelled to Dabas where we played final of Hungarian Junior Cup. And, as a player of Győr, has beaten us and won the cup.
Why the he** do they put a huge plant right in front of her face at a press conference? At least they could have put it in a decent pot then.
The small journalist sitting on a chair at the back row can probably hardly see her.

Hmmmm... it's just an idea of mine but why not let Nora Mørk play as a playmaker for some time, Sulland & Linka could do on RB, Kurtovic & Linka on RW? Mørk has great vision on the court and having a left-handed playmaker is quite unique - why not use her this way? Anyway, LHK almost become the Oltchim of Scandinavia, having an awful lot of quality players in their squad

Maybe because Larvik will have 4 playmakers next season already:
NT player: Tonje Larsen
NT player: Gro Hammersen
NT player: Karoline Dyhre Breivang (also RB in Defence)
NT player: Tine Rustad Kristiansen
If Kurtovic goes to Byåsen (as I in a way hope even if I'm a Larvik suporter) our team will be more harmonic.

Maybe because they'll have Hammerseng as well next year.

Also, any news on more Győr signings? Will there be any?

Why? Is daddy piling the pressure on the staff members to make Amanda play?

I’ll try to explain

There is absolutely nothing wrong with neither Amanda Kurtovic nor her father, nothing at all! But at some point Larvik as a team can turn out to be “too crowed” and it will have a negative effect on the team, because players doesn’t get as much playing-time as they hoped. It will also be more positive for Amanda Kurtovic future and the future of Norwegian NT to let her get plenty of plying-time in Champions League with Byåsen, instead of sitting on the bench in Larvik. She’s already played 3 seasons with Nordstrand in the Norwegian League, so she’s too good to just play in the “weak matches” in the Norwegian League and then sit a lot on the bench in the "difficult matches" in our league (incl. the CL). This will turn out to be a step back for her and not a step forward. Also, if Kurtovic leaves Larvik for more playing-time in Byåsen, the future of the Norwegian NT players, plying RB and RW will look even better then it already is:
Larvik:
RW: Nora Mørk (1991) (plenty of playing-time)
RW/RB: Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth (1984) (plenty of plying-time)
RB: Linn Jørum Sulland (1984) (plenty of plying-time)
Byåsen:
RW: Inga Berit Svestad (1985) (plenty of playing-time)
RB/RW: Amada Kurtovic (1991) (plenty of plying-time)
RB: Maja Jakobsen (1991) (plenty of plying-time)
FCM:
RB: Tonje Nøstvold (1985) (plenty of plying-time)
Tertnes:
RB: Marthe Reinkind (1988) (plenty of plying-time)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Larvik’s team will look like this:
GK: Cecilie Leagnger (1975) (hopefully)
GK: Lene Rantala (1968) Contact expires in 2012
LW: Kari-Mette Johansen (1979) Contract expires in 2011
LW: Sara Breistøl (1982) Contract expires in 2011
LB: Tine Stange (1986) Contract expires in 2012
LB: Katja Nyberg (1979) Contract expires in 2012
PM: Gro Hammerseng (1980) Contract expires in 2012
Back: Tine Rustad Kristiansen (1980) Contract expires in 2012
PM: Tonje Larsen (1975) Contract expires in 2013
RB: Karoline Dyhre Breivang (1980) Contract expires in 2012 - Defence and maybe some LP backup
RB: Linn Jørum Sulland (1984) Contract expires in 2012 - Offence
RW: Linn-Kristin Riegelhuth (1984) Contract expires in 2013
RW: Nora Mørk (1991) Contract expires in 2012
LP: Heidi Løke (1982) Contract expires in 2011
Others:
LW:Thea Mørk (1991) Contract expires in 2012
Back/Defence: Olga Medveda (1986) Contract expires in 2012
RB/RW: Amanda Kurtovic (1991) Contract expires in 2012 (If she stays)
With so many players who has contract expiring at the same time, Larvik has to also “please” some of them to stay on after 2012 too (like letting players get meaningful playing-time over some time in "important matches"), and with several players on the same possessions, the team can turn out to be not so harmonic in that way.
Larvik has to create a working and functional team. It’s great to get new players for the next season and Gro Hammerseng & Katja Nyberg has been part of Larvik’s future plan for over 2 years now (and finally their here!).

Larvik had a pretty darn good RB/RW side with Nora Mørk on RW and Linn Jørum Sulland on RB in offence and often Karoline Dyhre Breivang in defence in the 2009/10 season. It became a “problem” there when Sulland got injured therefore there also was a plan behind the fact of getting Amanda Kurtovic to the club. But when Linka suddenly was without a club and wanted to get back to Norway and play for Larvik again (since FCK will shut down and close up after this season), it has turned out to be a tiny problem, because this was clearly not part of Larvik’s plan.
It’s totally understandable that Larvik takes Linka back, she’s a huge part of the club’s history and she played 7 seasons (2002-2009) for Larvik and she joined the club when she was 18 years old, coming from a 2. division club (third level in Norway). So there’s a lot of history between Linka and Larvik. As you see this can "hurt" the plan the club (Larvik) had with Amanda Kurtovic, since they bought her before they knew anything about Linka and FCK ... I'm pretty sure that Linka, Nora Mørk and Linn Jørum Sulland will share the playing-time on RW/RB.
But once again: There's nothing bad/wrong about Amanda Kurtovic and her father. (I wish/hope nothing but the best for her!)

Signaté signed for 3 years with Aalborg DH. Her best friend, Julie Goiorani, will also join Aalborg next season, and that might have had an affection on Sagnaté's choice of club.
Re: Transfers and... (09/10)
I understand that Larvik will have "problems only" with their
gigantic number of players next season !
If any Danish clubs could dig up some $ for next season, then Larvik
should consider, sending Stange-Sulland-N. Mørk to Denmark.
This would be a solution for the staff issue in Larvik.

It was said before that Stange might leave Viborg, is this thing still on? Will she transfer to Byasen?

Viborg left wing Gitte Aaen has signed a 1-year contract with Hypo in copenhagen today:

Gitte Aaen and Hypo Secretary-General Dieter Heger in Copenhagen. Based on the picture you would think they were a couple, the way they hold their hands around each other.

Yeah, Larvik. Of course it is, as we were talking about LArvik and not Viborg.

So she'll stay.

Gitte says that she has a really good feel for her new handballlife in Vienna and that she is very pleased to learn the new players and the club to know, but also make it a special experience to go out into the world all alone
