20 year old Sanja Radosavljevic will probably take over now. She probably should have got a chance on NT even before, but now it's definitely her time to show what she's made of.
There's also Jovana Bartosic who is coming back after pregnancy, but I don't know if she'll be ready by ECh.

Women's World Volleyball Championship

The history is made. Thank you, girls!

Czech NT left back Pavla Poznarová (1986; last club: Ostrava-Poruba/CZE) retired suddenly under very strange circumstances. :-k

Cecilie Leganger, effective November 1, 2014.

It's hardly surprising given the fact that she has taken some time off handball anyhow recently. She feels her body can no longer cope with handball on this level.

Such a great career, so many impressive games.
She certainly deserved every trophy she's won and is in my opinion one of the best GK's ever.

Hopefully Toft will prove to be a worthy replacement.

I actually would rate her to be the best GK, women's handball has ever seen. She was an absolutely decisivie factor in countless games - also in a time when games were less televised and less/not at all available online, hence there was less opportunity to study every single movement of the opponents. (Plus, we should never forget the terror factor, oh dear, so much authority in the goal...)

Katrine Lunde got pretty close these days but technical background improved drastrically, thus her job is probably slightly less difficult.

Big blow for Larvik. Toft and Hasanić are not that good for CL. Larvik's chances for F4 decreased a lot. I think they'll meet Vardar or Budućnost in 1/4 finals... #-o

48-years Czech legendary goalkeeper Lenka ČERNÁ decided to quit handball.
She has sliver from 1986 WCh, played in Soul 1988, won six French titles for Metz, etc.
Her last professional club, which she was competing for, was HC Zlín in Czech-Slovak joint Women's Handball International League.

Tonje Larsen =D> =D> =D>

She has ambitions to become trainer on top level and people who have been working with her for several years, believe, she has everything to reach her goal.

Well, all the best to her, a superb defender and a very intelligent and fine person.

I seriously don't understand her. Rio is just one year away, Sweden have a prospective team.

Maybe this is a cultural thing, the last thing I would do as a sportsman from Central Europe is to call it a day just before the OG.

It's hard to grasp when you have a talent like that, but if she isn't motivated as she says, I can understand it. You can't force it if it's not there.

Julija Nikolić will say goodbye to handball.
She wants to have a baby, but there's the problem with the knees as well.

Whatever the reason, she will be remembered!

THANKS JULE! =D> =D> =D> =D>
