Re: Injuries
I wouldn't be so dramatic to call it a TOTAL disaster. Let me explain.
First, let's be a little sympathetic and admit it's awful for them. I wish them a fast and easy recovery.
Second, Geiger was not responding to the NT call ups anyway, so no impact there for Romania. A bit of a problem for BM, but considering the aggressive signing campaign they had, they must be covered.
About Manea, that is a blow for the NT. None of our pivots are at her level. I can only hope Coadãlatã will rise her game in attack and Tãtar will become more of a certainty. Time for some young girls to shine too. About her participation in CSMB, no problem whatsoever: they don't play eurocups this season and they have Vetkova anyway.

Re: Injuries
Zivile Jurgutyte (Latvia NT & S.G BBM Bietigheim Playmaker) also out with a cruciate ligament injury. That's a big blow for them.
A real shame, I would've liked to see that team play with their starting seven at the Bucharest Trophy.

idle banter.

Ikast Avis confirmed the 4 weeks absence for Thorsgaard: http://aoib.dk/artikel/knusende-premieresejr
I'm sad for AM Pedersen too. I wish a good recovery for both players.

Think I will go for something possitive here - Handball is just a great sport!

Re: Injuries
Line Jørgensen will probably miss EC 2014 because of a surgery in her knee. At least 8 weeks out. And FCM will miss her in Ch. L qual round, and in the Group Stage as well, if the will qualify. A huge blow

Re: Injuries
Alisson Pino from Vardar had to undergo a knee surgery yesterday and will be out for 2 months (will miss first phase of the CL group phase)
Watch out for Vardar now, with her absense they are 30% stronger than before

Re: Injuries
There is a campaign in DK right now to make players attentive of concussions and not play with one. Seems highly relevant as there was alot of concussions last season.
In connection with this there is a story about Malene Dalgaard who is apparently still very affected and I found it really disturbing:
»Many ask me, what I'm spending my time doing, and I have to say: 'Nothing'. I don't read, I don't have my studies, I don't have handball, I don't visit the court very ofte – I can't (because of the noice). I rest alot and go for a small walk and come back and rest again. It has turned my everydaylife around« Malene Dalgaard explains. (Skive Folkeblad)
I hope she'll recover, it must be awful...

Re: Injuries
Khmyrova injured, won't play against Buducnost also. She will go on a shoulder surgery and will be out for 3 months.

shoulder and only 3 months out? it seems a bit too optimistic preview.

I read that, i don't know how serious the injury is. Maybe the journalist wanted to write AT LEAST 3 months but forgot. Who knows.
Re: Injuries
According to http://www.gyorietokc.hu, Adrienn Orbán is out for the rest of the season. A second examination showed that her injury is worse than initially thought. She needs surgery, which means she is out for 6 months. There is no information about her replacement. This means that ETO is left with only one right winger.
Susan Müller succesfully broke another finger of hers, this time it was the left hand ring finger. She will be out for 6 weeks.

No, she wasn't.

For F4 I think she'll be ready. That's enough!

But Germany without Müller
