CSM might receive a wildcard. EHF board will be in Bucharest in August.

Gerzson wrote:And whatever, they build a 10k+ arena. Why would anyone think that Bucharest would play in this one?

CSM will play in the new arena. 100%. :) which will be build 100%.

Gerzson wrote:Even the country's nr. 1 football team Steaua can attract "only" 9k ppl per match. Would be funny to see a CSM vs Constanta match in that arena.. in front of 800 fans..

wrong post, Steaua might have received the most money from tickets in football in whole Eastern Europe. they make constantly at least 4-6 million in Europe only from the prices which are one of the most expensive in Eastern Europe alongside Russia. to make an opinion, I read some weeks ago that Steaua received 38.5 million euros last year from the associations union.

I`m a handball fan but I can tell you that it`s not a rule, according to Wikipedia, not even talking about Europe. at some derbies they go a lot if they aren`t bored. against Chiajna and others Steaua plays at Ghencea that is an old stadium to be honest. it might be decent for Eastern Europe, but once you`re used with another level..

Steaua-Brașov 50,224
Steaua-Dinamo 49,112
Steaua-CFR Cluj 45,803
Steaua-Rapid 42,876
Steaua-Petrolul 29,459

Gerzson wrote:Would be funny to see a CSM vs Constanta match in that arena.. in front of 800 fans..

ETO and Buducnost are in the same situation and anyone in women`s handball. :) CSM will will build a fanbase in time, the potential in Romania is much bigger than in Slovenia. Bucharest might become a team with many supporters, especially in Europe and at derbies if there will be any rivalry or more rivalries.

Gerzson wrote:Yeah, sure :) The Flamaropol Arena should've been demolished and replaced with a new arena in 2010. Funny how these projects get forgotten and how they come up with new ones time to time, when politicians want a bit spotlight :) Noone mentions that the given Flamaropol falls to pieces, they can't create ice and that Steaua hockey team was thrown off from MOL league 'cos they can't provide an adequate facility. Pity.

it seems that you care too much about Romanian problems, I don`t care about the Hungarian. Flamaropol Arena will be rebuilt but the bureaucracy is high in this country. it`s between Țiriac and the state/city hall. after the indoor arena. the hall is 100%.

it wasn`t signed anything regarding the ice rink, only talks. I don`t know from where you take these stupid info. if some Hungarian from Romania is publishing them in your press, then he should know nothing can be built without an act. some are election promises, some are just postponed but materialised in time.

don`t come here with election promises, I was talking about sure things. you pretend you know mathematics not like me (us).

Steaua Hockey needs an ice rink indeed. meanwhile both Steaua and Dinamo got new swimming pools. Dinamo even an indoor arena. do you need we are k**f France or what?

it doesn`t matter about what you think about Bucharest and especially Baia Mare, the projects are on long-term and they will be top clubs. imagine, both started much better than Vardar. in my opinion. in building the teams. in 1-2 years they will look like Gyor though at least in Baia Mare the money are less.

btw, Jakob gives class to Ambros-mug.

you got lucky that you had no opponents, I think you should totally enjoy handball and that`s all. why are you so frustrated with all the success? do you care about this sport or something else?

Gerzson wrote:Get serious, these teams have potential but presenting them like they were the top of the top is just funny. You've already shared the future successes between these team without a single bounce of ball, a single pass or whatever. :)

get serious, you are delusional. I can do that while Baia Mare got do Nascimento, Arenhart, Davydenko, Makeeva and Herrem after Ungureanu, Ardean and Nechita.

Bucharest with Carmen Martin, da Silva, Rodrigues, Torstenson, Manea and others.

Well, at first I'd like to ask you to reply on my post not on the one who submitted it. (Have you realized that almost all paragraphs is about me or Hungarian-Romanian stuffs or other off-topis things?) I will not answer on these since they are senseless and really off-topic.. Yeah, and I won't answer on your posts until you fail to get my point! (Well, reading the site, it seems not only mine..)

Probably the thing average attendance rings a bell

The difference is they don't play and don't want to play in 10k+ arenas

I'd say might be. And noone said the opposite :) To quote myself "these teams have potential"...

All the transactions of the Hungarian leage in one place: http://handball.hu/2014/07/18/kik_jottek_kik_mentek/

With some google translate, it's quite easy to understand but some help: távozók= players, left the club; érkezők=newcomers

Iva Pongrac (Podravka Vegeta) possibly to Bietigheim: http://www.hrsport.net/vijesti/474411/r ... -podravci/

Does anyone know what this means? (Google Translate makes not much sense of it):
Pongrac je, kako nam je ispričala, zbog solidne sezone koju je odradila, kao i staža u Klubu, očekivala ponudu s boljim uvjetima, posebice jer se Klub pojačao s nekolicinom inozemnih igračica koje u Koprivnici trebaju i stan i hranu, no do pregovora nije došlo.
idle banter.

It says that Pongrac expected a better offer from Podravka considering she's stayed at the club for a long time and has just had a decent season there, and that they have signed some more expensive players from abroad, but that it didn't happen.

Gerzson, we are already off-topic, to summarise the ice rink is a discussed matter, the hall is sure because even the final act was signed. I still respond you next and we close it here because some persons are undisturbed.

barry.romania wrote:Probably the thing average attendance rings a bell.

it`s because the pitch needed to be protected and many games took place at Ghencea and indeed the last season attendances also decreased generally because some teams got weaker. but 2012/13 is edifying, with +20,000 and that`s internally: http://www.worldfootball.net/attendance ... 12-2013/1/. it`s a good number for Eastern Europe.

when any Hungarian club plays in Europe with full house, sold out like Steaua, Dinamo, Rapid, Poli, Petrolul, Cluj and others, please announce me. regarding football we had problems but it was due to the economy, now I expect in 2-3 years to be back. we still have.

not that I care too much if the money move to handball. I only don`t know why would you care about football teams of Romania, ice rinks, indoor arenas, etc. why do you bash CSM Bucharest and HCM Baia Mare..

Gerzson wrote:The difference is they don't play and don't want to play in 10k+ arenas

but half? where did Krim play btw? which team should use the indoor arena? they need fans and they will build base. Oltchim played in Bucharest and got around 5,000. if they would have played the final, at Romexpo, they would have had more.

this is your problem? where does CSM play? in my opinion any top hall should have 8k+. if you are building with less seats it`s because Gyor isn`t a 300k+ town.

Does anyone have any piece of information where Nuria Benzal will play next season? It seems she left her Hungarian club Fehérvár KC, but it was not published where she is heading for the new season.

No, I have just asked, why do you ask it. I don't know also, where she will play in the next season, maybe retires?
She wasn't an important player in the Fehérvár KC, and in the hungarian league. She hadn't played a lot, she is to small.

I was just curious because there was nothing to read about her, just a short sentence that she is also among the leaving players, and I hoped somebody here would have some information about her next destination. :)
