She is now looking to go to Germany or Sweden according to that article.

OFFICIAL! Jakob Vestergaard will lead Germany NT. He will be present with the German side (taking already place on the bench) at the Carpathian Trophy in Cluj-Napoca next month. You can say he was somehow promoted by Romania, because the German list included other 2 names and his good work at CSM Bucharest was appreciated.

Pineau ended her adventure in Ljubljana... The contract was mutually terminated.

I don't see anyone (besides HCM) wanting to sign her. Maybe Fleury.. I really hope Buducnost management won't come after her, she is just a waste of money that could be spent on a better player.

So the migration of the French hasn't worked out:
- Darleux, Lacrabère, Mendy went back to FR; Goudjo may retire
- Pineau is a tourist, not a reliable player. Romania -> Macedoania -> Slovenia -> Romania
- Leynaud and Dembele made it the short way Romania/Denmark -> Macedonia

In the end, the only French playing abroad who achieved success was Tervel :)

This sounds like a lifetime ago... but don't forget Valérie Nicolas. She was successful in Denmark :D

I tend to believe, Krim is quite happy not needing to pay the salary of the two French players.

How are their finances looking these days? Will they be able to stabilise themselves on a reasonable level or will they need to live on an even smaller budget?

Today's loss looks downright embarassing but actually, almost their entire season does so.

She is not cheap for their standard, and was signed to bring some quality in team, but... She was injured almost entire season, and while playing looked confused and lost in space.

She did find her match in the end: Ambros Martin. And Champions League winner looks great on her CV next to World Champion. Meanwhile, Pineau, player of the year 2009, goes on with her faux soul-searching ...and doesn't seem to get even close to achieving something.

I agree for the end about Pineau but she is only 25 y.o and career not yet finish .
