Re: 2014/15 Champions League - Group Stage
Most probably 3 last years Final4 teams in one group... Wooow! Hopefully this year 3 teams are going into Main Round. It'd be disaster that one team from B has to leave.
Group A is a joooooooooooke!
Group C great fight of 3 teams, while in group D Larvik is not a favourite at all...

not the best, not the worst. Metz signed Mendy and are the champions of France. Dinamo Sinara in awesome spot. the Hungarian teams got perfect draws, Gyor and probably FTC.
the system is like this: the top three teams will advance to the main round, then we will have the two groups of six. and then the quarterfinals and the Final Four.

We can not complain but hard 2nd group for FTC (if they qualify) and QF for Győr!

Can't wait!
This years CHL will be great, plenty of good matches. Hopefully will FTC join as well, and win group A. Hope Byåsen can make it aswell, but I think FCM (&Podravka) are stronger. Losing Herrem & Toumi is just to much.

nice avatar

I have a feeling that this system of competition, 2 groups of 6 ,so 10 games in a group stage, its was introduce in order to make even harder for teams to take part in whrl league.

Re: 2014/15 Champions League - Group Stage
???
No one team has more games than previously. 6 games in preliminary group in October-November, 6 games in main round in Februar-March, 2 games in quarterfinals in April and 2 games in Final Four in May. Exactly the same amount of games like in season 2012/13 (in 13/14 there were 2 games less because of changing the tournament system during the season).

In conclusion, I declare that EHF must be destroyed

You are going to MR with points achieved against 2 other teams from your group, that advanced to MR too.
So in MR you are not playing AGAIN with teams from Group Stage.
In Main Round there will be 2 groups of 6 teams (best three teams from group A and B, and from C and D).
Did you get it ?

What is the difference between WHC Vardar SCBT (taking part in the Women's CL) and WHC Vardar (taking part in the Women's EHF Cup)? Or is there an error in the document released by the EHF?

WHC Vardar are Vardar's second team, they became number 3 last season in Macedonia behind Vardar SCBT and Metalurg, i think.mikh wrote:What is the difference between WHC Vardar SCBT (taking part in the Women's CL) and WHC Vardar (taking part in the Women's EHF Cup)? Re: 2014/15 Champions League - Group Stage
Before season start, any Guess/opinion of the teams power rankings, F4 or cup chances?
Here is mine:
Győr - Quite the same level. Good signings, but Tervel will be missing
Buducnost -Fantastic team. Became stronger with Bulatovic
Larvik - Much better than last year. With Fjarford and Wojtas, regular offense became better
Vardar - Better than last year. Especially in offense (backs)
HBC Baia Mare - Very good names. Need some time to form a team
Mydtjylland - Better with Alstad, sure, they can reach the group phase
Viborg - If Damjanovic, Gullden and Burgaard will stay, they are still a force
Savehof, Metz, Ferencvaros (if qualify) could make some surprise,
Hypo, Krim, Thüringer lost some potential
Dinamo and Zagreb are black horses to me. I don't know too much about them.
Lublin is possibly the weakest link without Wojtas.

and why not BUDUCNOST KIA for instance.
Buducnost is second team in Europe this year.
Why management of Buducnost can't find
strong sponsor for them?

No, I don't believe... But Buducnost must have strong sponsor without Montenegro if we
want to win CL.
And I don't think Buducnost had good job with transfers this year (K. Bulatovic - OK).
In 2014/15 CL all teams which wants F4 must to have fantastic second player on
each position. Buducnost needs one more LB (Mara Jovanovic, e.g.) and one RW
(Chernoivanenko, but she went in Vardar).

Who do you need more in Budućnost team

Collecting players and racing with other teams budgets is not in Budućnost's strategy. Also they're thinking on producing national team players!

Malovic is RB, not RW and she is too young for CL and also Nina Bulatovic on RW and Jaukovic on LB.
I was mean M.Jovanovic is Montenegrian NT player and Buducnost too easy afford she went to France.

She is also RW. As for Jovanović she would not get enough space next to Neagu, and she's not that cheap player, so not to repeat again Budućnost doesn't have budget of ETO, Vardar, and maybe some other teams too.

For foreign sponsors, I agree, it is more than welcome
but that story has 2 sides, maybe KIA that you mentioned etc. maybe they dont want to invest so much money in sponsoring club?
As for Mara, x2 - I would like to see her back in blue white jersey
Room can be made in budget always: for example- send Kinga B. home, cut littlle from Milenas contract, cause she was useless whole season, and there you will have place in budget for NT captain in Buducnost. She deserves to be there, IMO.
