Buducnost
Larvik
Dinamo
Gyor

Dinamo has 3 scorers in top 20. Kotchetova is 3rd, Akopian 11th, Dmitrieva 17th. It shows how constant their backline is. They've beaten teams like Vardar, Thuringer and Leipzig. BM could only impose itself against Viborg and Savehof.

Gyor, with much better coaching can solve this at home. Besides, we need them in Budapest in order fill the Pap Laszlo arena.

Budućnost, Dinamo, ETO, Larvik

Budućnost and Larvik are big favourites, but it won't be walkover I think... Vardar also can surprise everyone and kick out Gyor, but they need to wake up. Too late IMO. Players are even more confused with 2 coaches. Dinamo can cause problems to BM with their perfect defense, not to mention great trio of backline. Can't wait for 1/4 :!: =D>

I don`t know what to say. normally Gyor are favourites mainly because of Indira even if Amorim doesn`t play. will Duda return from the quarters?

anyway also in my opinion HCM-Dinamo Sinara is a 50-50%, ETO has the experience and current quality over Vardar. I wonder if Vardar can make some damage but I doubt. logically, Gyor weren`t bad at Metz and Skopje weren`t as good as I thought they would be against Volgograd.

Neagu can win by herself against VHK, Larvik is also favourite.

you can say whatever you want, but this edition of Champions League increased. even THC-LHK is pretty much interesting if the Germans will not lose the first leg.

Duda will miss the entire season, probably we'll see her next Champions League season

I would say, that Győr cannot be sure of the outcome against Vardar, Győr has backplayer problems, in the meantime, they can compensate with a solid defense. Vardar is unpredictable, they lost away match in Volgograd and Leipzig (!)

I see only one clear favorite in the quarters, abd that's Larvik. They will whitewash the floor with Thuringen. /99%/
Buducnost is by far the best team of this year, but they meet a running team, maybe the only team in the Top 8, that on a good day can present problems for them . But still they have the rematch at Moraca. /93%/
Dinamo is pretty underrated, they are more consistent and better in defense than BM. The Romanians however have 2 superlative keepers. I still go with the Russians. /60-40/
Vardar. Gyor can rely on the NOR-duo, but their firepower is not impressive, especially the LB side. Vardar seems unorganized, but they have the time + the players that perform well under pressure. ETO maybe better in defense. But I still pick the Macedonian team as favorites. /55-45/

I would say Vardar got no chance against Győr,not even against this Győr which is a kinda B team. They can make it close at best but that's it.Clear Győr victory on both matches and Vardar can even run into a big defeat in Győr.Vardar had a chance only if disastHerr would be in the goal on both matches but she won't be 'cos playtime is over.El tHerrible will stay on the bench.

Hopefully Győr pulls through. Vardar has problems as well, seeing their results. The only problem for Győr can be Penezic and Radicevic. It would be be for the final 4 if Győr would not qualify, but it can happen, Vardar is very unpredictable, but still I give 60-40 to ETO. As for the other matches, Larvik, Buducsnost will be in Budapest for sure, and maybe Baie Mare.

Another thing. This Győr is a B-team. If they would have everybody, there would be only one team in the competition again. I don't think that Larvik and Buducsnost became so good. The problem for ETO are the missing players. When Amorim got injured as well, I knew that Győr will not win the CL for a third consecutive time. If we consider all the injuries and maternity leaves, even getting into the final4 would be a huge deal. This year however Larvik and Buducsnost should play the final. If Győr doesn't win, than I will cheer for Larvik. There were great Norwegian-Hungarian clashes in the not-so-distant past and the person of Karl Erik Bøhn also bonds the two teams.

Thüringer-Larvik
Larvik would win this game in any case, but now that Thuringer is without Nadgornaja, Krause and Frey (according to EHF), this is just cruel.

HCM Baia Mare-Dinamo
Maybe the most interesting game, between a team of stars and a team that really plays as a team. Dinamo was more organised this season so it is the favorite, but Tiselj had now some more weeks to prepare his team, and I hope it will be enough for Baia Mare to win. I want to see this team and its fans in the Final4!

Vardar-Györ
Ambros Martin in Gyor, Indira Kastratovic in Vardar. This is the difference.

Viborg-Buducnost
If all the players of Viborg were healthy and in form, maybe they could surprise. This is probably not the situation.

Thüringer-Larvik
No Krause no Thuringer surpirce - Eckle not good enough yet.

HCM Baia Mare-Dinamo
After the Abbingh return this will be home victory

Vardar-Györ
To close to call

Viborg-Buducnost
No Fisker no Viborg surprice

Radmila Petrović lost a baby suddenly and joined Budućnost already. She will play tomorrow in Viborg.

Larvik ready :)

After a rather hectic arrival to Germany with bus drivers that didn't know where their hotel was or training hall, no food, and no meeting room when they finally got to the right hotel, they are now ready and fit for fight. Thüringer can only dream of taking any point at all :)

Image

HCM Baia Mare-Dinamo

Vardar-Györ -Draw?

Viborg-Buducnost -Maybe Viborg can hang on until half time, but then it's all over...
