I'm a little puzzled here: wasn't Grbic a winger? And wasn't she a winger on youth NT 2014, where Vanessa Agovic was the main PM? I was expecting to see Agovic on WCh

Grbić is PM and always played as one but Maja Savić put her on the wing probably because of her height and maybe for Vanesa to play as the main PM. She can play on both positions, and she is top class on both of them but i prefer her on PM because she's inteligent, fast and unpredictable (maybe the future Gorbicz). And she played as a PM on the junior EC this summer. Maja experimented a lot, Ema Ramusovic is actually a back player but Maja put her on line player position because we lack players there.
Vanesa is injured and she won't be ready before the MR in CL. :/

Itana is great as a middle back,Woman's handball needs more playmakers like her, althought she is left wing. She is very fast and she can make exellent action.Ema started to play on pivot position because she had hard enjury and she wasn't able to play so good on left beck position, now Ema is very good young pivot.Vanesa is great also,in this moment she is not recoverd enough to play on WC.Maja Savic made exellent thing with this generation 96-97.

So Sahlholdt played herself on the team, I was wondering if he'd bring her, since she's been doing so well lately. Greve is more surprising, I think, but perhaps he prefers to have someone who's a quite different type. Personally, I really hope Greve will play herself in shape, cause a Greve on top would be awsome to have.

Juncker probably lost a little terrain because of her injury? But if she keeps up the play, she had before the injury, she can't be that far from A NT (the other GKs are not that convincing IMO).

I see Susan Thorsgaard is still in, wonder if she'd have been there if not for the unclearness about the 7 vs. 6 rule?

Otherwise no surprises...

I wonder if Westberg is gonna get a spot if for example Torstenson isn't ready for WCh (with her current injury status).

Yes she is definitely next in line, but I don't see any chance that Linnea isn't available with her current status. As far as I know she had a minor surgery (to remove bone cartilage I think).

The injury is, as I see it, the only thing keeping her from being in the squad but it really shouldn't be an issue. It was a minor injury. I know Juncker wouldn't go to the Championship of course, but I'm just annoyed her amazing performances haven't even got her into the initial squad. Minor injury or no minor injury.

I think the main cause is that they went to some training camp while the Rostov players had CL matches. It is certainly not the final list.

Omg, Ilina, Davydenko, Shymkute, Sedokykina, Makeeva, Uskova, Chernoivaneko, Petrova, + Sen should be in the first squad. What is he thinking? Does have something against Rostov, since zero players plays for Rostov in his first squad..? Hopes 'Gojira'' have right. ;)

This is the squad only for the preparation camp currently ongoing in Togliatti. You can see that not only Rostov players are missing, but also players from foreign clubs.
