7. Russia vs Korea (55% - 45%). Russia is the strongest team this year, but Korea plays differently and smart. Plus, Russians have always had problems with them.

It's worthy to remember that RUS beated KOR on Universiade's 2015 final. Eleven players out of the sixteen which KOR brought to Denmark were on that final, including the starters and other important players who are getting good amount of playing time, like RB Sujeong YU and LB Jin yi KIM. Also, KOR's main playmaker at Universiade and OG's qualifier, On A KIM, it's not playing in Denmark 2015 (if my google translator skills on corean still sharp, due to some kind of injury).
RUS also counted with some important players on that final, like A. Vyakhireva (12/16), V. Garanina (10/10), K. Makeeva (4/4) and P. Vedekhina (5/6), and only 3 players from russian team roster at Denmark 2015 also were at Universiade's 2015 final against KOR.

Jump and shoot...Korea can't block it, so it's up to their mediocre GK to save it. Easy match for Russia...ne need for any pivots here :)

Germany worn they out with their physics. Korea dead tired, then gave up and "tanked", not before. Korea really tried as long they had power to it.
Germany found the golden receipt that worked for their player material 100% in the second half, and it can take them to the top for the first time in many years. Too bad they didn't do this before, as they are meeting Norway now...but they have found gold, and it may send our girls back home instead.

Aufwiedersehn Deutschland :)

Germany couldn't repeat that 2nd half against Korea at all. Partly because our girls were fast enough to intercept their longpasses, and partly because Grimsbø closed the goal :)

Image

On the other half Heidi Løke caused havoc and scored 9 goals. She was named MVP of the match, and that was well deserved :)
Absolutely unstoppable, and very lethal indeed. Thank God she plays for us :)
Image

Herrem really shines this WC, and that includes our numer 10 captain Oftedal as well. It's pure joy to see them in action :)
Image

Our new general in defense Mari Molid had to rest due to injury, so Pernille Wibe had to replace her. It went very well indeed, and defense rocked hard. Thank you so much :)

Image

They are only getting better and better for each match, and we need it too as the competition gets harder. This WC starts to look very good indeed :)

Congratz girls :)

James Bond, sorry but again bubbling. Such thought, like Korea probably preferred to get Russia in 1/8 than Norway, will never come to your head?

No...how can anyone wanting Russia if they get to choose? But I guess they did after all... Is it really possible that Korea actually can beat them? They must think so...

That's fantastic good news :)

(Now if Solberg gets a minor injury too, we have a complete team that should have been picked in the first place... :) )

You must be joking. It was a very good performance. Pivot is a problem, I agree. But otherwise it was great handball.
