It looks like csm Bucharest wont host the 1/4 against Rostov in... Bucharest. The main sports hall has been taken for exactly the same period. The other sports hall in Bucharest don't have all the legal paper work to host sports events. So, it looks like Csm will have to play in rm valcea or cluj napoca. EPIC FAIL.
The best solution would be Cluj Napoca, a city which doesn't care about handball ,but must like neutral and boring people will come. While in rm valcea, its oltchim's place..so, nobody will show up. One other option would be Brasov, but the city it has Corona, so, as in rm valcea situation, nobody will come.

And the logical solution. Honestly, CSM doesn't have so many fans and they are not hardcore. Cluj Arena would be a too far and too large choice for the club. Vâlcea is much closer, the hall is big enough and people in Vâlcea deserve a (hopefully) good match after all these years. Plus, they know handball and how to put pressure on the opponent, so...
But I'm sure CSM's board will improvise something in Bucharest instead, so probably no chance for Vâlcea.

Could be Dinamo or a Monday/Thursday game in Polivalenta. Bear in mind that Rostov will also have to sign off for this to happen, which makes a Thursday game even more probable. On the other hand, it is amazing that a city like Bucharest is unable to boast a proper hall. I understand why CSM has problems, as the timetable for the hall and the events is done one-year ahead. But it's amazing that the shitstorm that is here with the National Arena and the 42-year old Polivalenta cannot be resolved once and for all.

Can they just delay for a day or two, or play a day or two earlier?
If they have to play somewhere else i would like it to be in Valcea :D

CSM will need EHF's accept and also Rostov to sign off on this. If you ask me, I think the game will be played on Thursday. It would be a shame and a slap in the face for the city to go to Cluj.

Yeah, they moved the honey&bee fair in another location. However, I doubt that the game will be played at Romexpo, which can be a logistical nightmare...

I guess in theory Line can be ready. She said she might barely make it for OG qual but Kim had made a deal with Klavs Bruun that she wouldn't play if she hadn't played any matches before that. So there seems to be an ok chance she can play on the 31st...

They said its possible for Line to play maybe 10 or 15 minutes, but not longer..I hope she doesnt push it if shes not feeling ready, the second leg might be better for her to play.

Buducnost had a test match with male handball team of Lovćen (again!!). And again result is nowhere to be found (wonder why? :D ).

We don't have Geiger,but I don't see that as a fatal minus.

I have to reconsider this statement I made..having Geiger out it IS a fatal minus for HCM because her replacement is Vizitiu.

And boy, she is bad..very very bad, extremely BAD ](*,)
I just saw the game between Baia Mare and Craiova, in which Vizitiu played 45-50 min..guess what, she scored 0 goals :!:
Having about 5 missed shots, she just passes the ball to the wing or the center to get the job done..she has no vision for herself, I swear she is the worst right back in our NL. There is no other back player in this country to play 50 minutes and score none.

Geiger's time off from the court because of the surgery she had was Vizitiu's chance to actually play both for Baia Mare and the NT, and show something, otherwise she is just wiping the bench. And every single time she stepped on court she was an unfortunate "show" to watch.

She scored ONCE (from free throw) against the amateurish team of Uruguay in the OG-qual, and she played all game long :!:
She scored 2 goals (one from free throw) against Montenegro's youngsters..what more can I say, she is truly a disaster for me to watch.

There is not one single reason for Ryde to take her in the squad for the Olympics, not ONE, and I will be really pissed if he takes her again.

I'm afraid we'll see Vizitiu in Rio. ](*,) Imo she is not deserving to be there, especially after the games against Mne 2.0 or Uruguay, but for some reason Ryde and Buceschi keep on giving her unlimited credit. Her friendship with Neagu is keeping her in the spotlight.

This is how I see the squad for Rio with the roster Ryde has at this moment: Ungureanu-Munteanu/Neagu-Buceschi-Brădeanu/Manea-Elisei-Nechita/Szucs-Perianu-Geiger/Chintoan-Chiper-Tănăsie with the reserve being Zamfirescu or Marin for center back/defense player.

If Nechita will confirm to be pregnant, then Udriştioiu will be fine alongside Chiper.

Otherwise, Ryde has many other right backs to try instead of Vizitiu, just how many chances to give a player who has 0 progress in a year? Let's hope we wont see her face at the Olympics :D

My guesses for the QF's:

HCM - Budućnost 25-28
Vardar - Larvik 24-21
FTC - Győr 23-27
CSM - Rostov 25-25
I welcome your post with enthusiasm.Image
