If we're counting players with dual citizenship who never played for their adoptive country, we can include Andrijana Budimir too. She player for Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro, later on she got Croatian citizenship but soon after that she ended her handball career and never got to play for them.

Also, two more naturalized players who represented Macedonia in the 1990's: Marina Abramova and Tatyana Berezhnyak, both originally from Ukraine.

We heard about it months ago, but it seems it will be true.

Wbk! You can add her to the list too, it is official:

There is a pic in the article.

I added her already yesterday. Please note that there are two categories of players in my initial post ;)

She's still considered a Russian citizen according to EHF. Maybe it's dual citizenhip?

On the EHF site you can't find the new rooster of Érd. In that I think you will find her as hungarian.

You will find Managarova as Ukrainian on the EHF site:

http://www.eurohandball.com/ec/00-01/cl/women/2016-17/clubs/006514/Rostov-Don

So I wouldn't give too much weight to this site.

Managarova still has an Ukrainian passport (dual citizenship), so the EHF's info is factically correct and valid.

Albana Arifi (Kosovo -> Sweden) and Edona Krasniqi (Kosovo -> Austria) added.

I guess there are more players from Kosovo representing other country now. Where are they? :)

Can anybody, especially among our Danish friends here, tell us her story in relation to this topic?

Do not now much about here, but can tell what i now.

She is talented (right back i think) and when she plays in the 3rd best danish league she is the star of NFH 2.

In the best league she did not play much, so on a top team like NFH with 3 good left backs she is not good enough yet.

She got in to a girl fight with Hagman because there were something going on between here(Demaj) and Mulle and Hagman did not like that.

So now she will leave NFH and play for Sonderjysyske according to this article:

http://europamester.dk/nfh-talent-har-f ... -nye-klub/

Than we will seee here true levet in the 2nd best league, look forward to that.

About Leonora Demaj ^ The name might also suggest, she doesn't have only danish roots...

Also the 17 year old Mirela Gjikokaj switches from Norway to Kosovo.

I'm really interested in seeing her play again. Do you maybe know if there will be a live stream?
I saw her a few years ago, she was out of shape, slow, not the player I remember from her Kometal days.
