Btw @Bo$ko, will be cool if they (EHF) would publish on website how they calculate EHF Club Coefficients.
L. Hutupan-Dinu, V. Ardean-Elisei, Cristina Neagu, O. Manea, I. Stanca, M. Jovanovic, Y. Ozel, R. Maier.

France is only 7th, so Metz cannot go to POT1...
Just like usually, I'm not aware of the rules

For 2018/19 season ranking results from 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 count, and not for 2017/18.

Re: 2018/19 EHF Champions League
Last year Banik Most (CZE) was registered for the Champions League, but did not participate. As they were champions in Czechia they did not need any wild card.

Does someone know why did not they participate?
Can something like that happen this year as well?

They were removed from the race because of insufficient hall.
However, at the same time, EHF left them a message to try it next year.
So they are trying.

Very low comment; youth destroing? Vulture? Mutant? 1 romanian player playing? No history? See the result of 2016 CL final.

Re: 2018/19 EHF Champions League
So today the final list of participants for the CL (+ qualifying) should be announced. In the previous years the list got released sometime (roughly) around 10:00 - 13:00.
I am curious with what sort of wonderful allocation they will come up with.

Re: 2018/19 EHF Champions League
Is that your guess?
I rather meant all of the 26 applicants. Who will get waved trought to the group stage (despite not winning anything), who will get a wild card for qualifying, and who may even get denied a place and be 'demoted' to the EHF-Cup.
Well, it takes place in Glasgow, so let's give it another 60 minutes.

I do not think Brest will get a direct place. I think there will be 3 qualification groups.

It is officially announced that there will be 4 qualification groups with 4 teams.

Ok, but for the group stage and the 4 tournaments you would need a total of 28 applicants - there are only 26 in total.

Just forget all of the above.

Ok, if you say so. But I can't remember a 3 team qualifying tournament, only an elimination play-off (a few weeks before the qualifying) between two teams.
idle banter.
