Looks like IHF has confirmed some place for the U-20 Women WC in Rumania.

Australia got the Oceanía spot.

■ 1 team: winner of the 2020 North American & Caribbean Junior U20 Championship (no info yet available about date and host)

■ 1 team: winner of the 2020 Oceanian Junior U20 Championship (no info yet available about date and host)
^Note: It can be expected that this event, as usual, won't take place, so the free spot should be given to the top ranked continent at the preceding Junior U20 WCh (2018 JWCh in Hungary), which is Europe => MONTENEGRO (12th place at the 2019 Junior U19 EURO) with a real hope to qualify

Update after the latest news:
According to the recent IHF event page update, specific Oceania and NorCa Junior Champs won't take place in the end. Australia and Mexico, respectively, qualified based on the IHF Junior Trophy continental events results. Note that the Oceanian zone Trophy continental winner (New Caledonia) is not eligible to take part at WCh (special collectivity of France).

■ 1 team: winner of the 2019/2020 IHF Junior U19/U20 Trophy - Intercontinental Phase (scheduled for 24-29 Mar 2020 in Calí, Colombia)

^Note: Currently, there is still one more expectable possibility for redistribution of the spots:

□ South & Central American Junior Ch. with less than 6 participants (6 teams are necessary to obtain the 3 continental compulsory places).
In this case, the free spot(s) is/are given to the top ranked continent at the preceding Junior U20 WCh (2018 JWCh in Hungary), which is Europe => 12th and lower ranked team(s) at the 2019 Junior U19 EURO) with a hope to qualify.

No idea. Their coronavirus-forced withdrawal can be expected, but in that case, an Asian team (in order: TPE or KAZ or UZB or IND) should take the spot over.
