Re: Transfers 2020/2021
So Snelder is leaving or this is just reinforcements?
Imo Stolle and Bolk are great adds, but it will be tricky to satisfy both Bolk and Hafra / Stolle and Klujber. If they can mix these players, FTC can take it to the next level finally.
I am curious about one thing: is Elek capable of communicating with foreign players? I never heard him speaking English...
I think this is the main reason why the foreign players were not capable of performing well in this team. Except for Pena who speaks Hungarian and Snelder who might have an idea of some words (I think I heard her saying something last game).

Concerning english speaking knoledges, probably Gabor Elek will be a sort of Pera in hungarian version: "you" "back" "atack" "energy" and mostly....a lot of "OK"...

Re Snelder. There are different rumours: (1) she leaves because of more money, (2) Elek sent her away. I personally believe #2 to be true.
Re communication: FTC have an interpreter, you can see her at every TO. But we don't need her now, since Snelder speaks Hungarian well

Snelder goes to Siofok, because of Szikora (GK), they are girlfriends.

So Jaukovic + Gros + Kobylinska will be the strongest back line in Europe
Re: Transfers 2020/2021
Wow, great transfer for both sides.
Jaukovic is stagnating in Buducnost and this is a great move for her. To play modern and fast handball, i just hope she can fit there.
Brest will have a killer backline and most importantly a young one. They will have so many players for rotation to keep the tempo and quality.
Good luck, i will definitely cheer for them next season.

Jaukovic is a talent but not yet at the level of the elite LBs.
Gros is a player who has won nothing at almost 30 years old (has a CL final with Gyor, a season in which she scored "exactly" 8 goals). She can play well some games, then to have a total blackout when it counts...
Kobylinska who? The only good Polish I know was Kudlacz. So far only a quite good Champions League season so far, she is young though. But Hagman and others, did well in the EHF Cup and in CL not so much. Brest scored a lot of goals, so scoring 3 goals against Valcea isn't really so big thing (besides Gyor games, Kobylinska did not do so well). Mireya Gonzalez in her good days did like Kobylinska or even more.
Why don't you mention Gullden for instance? The season of current Brest is Bella.

For them?! Not for Buducnost?

Bad transfer for her. She is really not top 3 level but deserved a team that fights for the Final 4. Jaukovic got Brest, Stine got Bietigheim. Could have easily played for Metz. Or even for Valcea who are trying to do well. Metz would have fit perfect for her.
Does Bietigheim consider to form a great team maybe? Because if not, Stine could have rather stayed in Denmark.

Re: Transfers 2020/2021
Shaadduupp barry, if BBM wouldn't have been so stupid to lose the first game against Valce by such a high margin in the last few minutes, they would have gone further - with good chances for the QF (also thanks to that ridiculous group D, of course).
idle banter.

Indeed.
+ Gullden + Loseth + Niakaté (+ Tissier)
But, nothing surprising for the 2nd wealthiest club in Europe.

Re: Transfers 2020/2021
Brest will finally fulfill the expectations this season and this transfer makes them clearly a F4 contender for the next year. Their coach did a great job and some players developed a lot in this system (Foppa, Minevskaja, Kobylinska, Niakate, Coatanea). And of course they signed some stars too (Gullden, Gros, Toft), but overall a very good strategy until now.
They are a team.
It was enjoyable to watch them this year, but they missed a good opportunity against Gyor. I wonder if they could play the same against the teams from the other group, but this will be shortly answered (at least against one of them). They still have to prove things as they had also some weak opponents. Gyor's group was just laughable.

And if Valcea wouldn't have been so "stupid" to throw away two winnable matches at home vs. Brest and Buducnost...?

Re: Transfers 2020/2021
BBM also lead Brest comfortably at home, before throwing it away. But all that doesn't matter, the reason why I mention that first game is that the gave up in the last 10 minutes, seemingly not realising that it's not about winning or losing but also about the head2head result.
idle banter.

True certainly. But, don't forget that Brest has already a F4 budget for the last 4 years.

Van der Heijden will leave Bietigheim at the end of the season, destination unknown.
Maura Visser will retire after this season

All signed with Bietigheim? Because of yes, the group gets stronger.
