She had offers from multiple clubs and chose Esbjerg.
"multiple clubs" in money difficulties or without finance potency ...I guest...The fact is she signed only for few month...
this was the subject...the rest is only my interpretation (I concede)...or you want to suggest that this solution ("few month only") was Esbjerg will ? I wouldn t believe this...
She stated in her interview "
I'm not one of those players who like to be on a team every year. "...
so ? what s the matter with this contract ? May be references received from Lara Gonzales (the way she was discarded by Esbjerg club) were not very encouraging...
Um... Regardless of what you believe, I think it's pretty obvious the ideal scenario to begin with for Esbjerg was a short-term deal. They're very careful with their money (some would say cheap

) Even though they had a very slim squad (+ two players returning from serious injuries) before Jørgensen announced her pregnancy, it wasn't until Polman got injured they even began talking about adding to their squad. (And even then they were pretty laissez-faire about it.)
Esbjerg have quite a number of financial heavyweights on the team already so in my opinion, it simply would be uncharacteristic for them to offer Pena a long-term contract 1. before knowing how she fits in with the team and 2. well-aware that both Polman and Jørgensen will be ready for next season.
In the interview you're quoting, Pena's literally saying her decision to go to Esbjerg specifically was motivated in part by conversations with González (and Mangué)

If anything, that interview made it sound like Pena was interested in staying longer.
