Champions League match 20/21 Rostov-Don vs Bucharest postponed

On January 23, at the Rostov Sports Palace, Rostov-Don was supposed to meet with the Romanian Bucharest in the group stage match of the DELO EHF Champions League 2020/21. However, the meeting of the rivals was postponed. This is due to the fact that several people from the team had tested positive for Covid-19 the day before. Previously, they did not go on a trip to Maykop, and our team reported the facts of the disease to the EHF and the regulatory authorities.

Norway should have locked them up at the hotel for a minimum of 10 days.

Hungarian Sports Magazine NSO wrote that most probably EHF will change the rules, and will award 2 points (with 10-0 goal difference ?) in those cases where the match cannot be postponed. The "innocent" team gets the 2 points. The deadline to propose new playing dates is today and all matches have to be played until 15.02.
So most probably 2 points will be awarded:
Vipers - Bietigheim ---> +2 points to Vipers (with 10-0, no match played)
CSM - Bietigheim ---> +2 points to CSM (with 10-0, no match played)
Vipers - FTC ---> +2 points to FTC (with 10-0, no match played)
Metz - Vipers ---> +2 points to Metz (with 10-0, no match played)
Of course, if EHf will implement this new rule, the playing schedule for the next round will be changed as well, meaning that the 1st 2 in each group has to play against last 2 in the other group.

This is a stupid solution. If there are "innocent" teams, there must also be "guilty" teams. But what are they guilty of? And how EHF proposes to determine who are innocent and who are guilty?

There should also be a points deduction for teams who don't self isolate all their players who came into contact with an infected player/team member.

Based on your point distribution, it is somehow Vipers' fault. I would say it is no one's fault. But we can lead a pointless dispute about the level of innocence. After all, the reason the match was postponed is that two players were tested positive. But these players were not from the home team. So I would say that FTC were less innocent that Vipers. Or better, they were certainly not innocent enough to get the 2 points. I should have been more precise above.

But we are beating a dead horse here as the match will take place later today, so no need to search for the "the guilty" or "the innocent" party.

With all teams qualified for The next phase, basicly all The games were useless... All The players could hâd avoid injuries and fatigue if they would knew before this Awesome rule!! Ehf eliminated The sense of competition between clubs...this rule îs so awesome it should be applied for The next season too. Lol
