European qualification for the 2021 Women's WCh

2021 WCh - Qualification Europe - Phase 1 - draw

The qualification Phase 1 matches will be played in 2 groups of 4 teams and 3 groups of 3 teams. The winners as well as the 2nd ranked teams of groups 1 to 5 qualify for the Phase 2 [play-off] matches.

17 teams participate in this qualification phase, and they have been seeded in the following pots:

Pot 1: AUT, BLR, SVK, TUR, MKD
Pot 2: UKR, ITA, SUI, ISL, POR
Pot 3: LTU, FAR, KOS, ISR, FIN
Pot 4: GRE, LUX

The draw will take place on 8 July 2020 at appx. 15:00 CET.

The Phase 1 will be played in the format of a tournament in one venue. Available playing dates are for the Phase 1 tournaments are 27 – 29 Nov 2020 or 4 – 6 Dec 2020.
The teams in the group may choose in which of the two double periods mentioned above they want to play the tournament (in a specific group, the majority of all Member Federations must agree or disagree (3:1 or 1:3 decision, respective 2:1 or 1:2)).
