Yes, it was their usual team. They just couldn't cope with Odense and its deep squad in the second half.

Esbjerg - Odense, what a returning to the league!
The last 8 minutes are without sound for some mysterious reason, sorry.

Kopenhagen - Nykobing, nice game to begin the new year.
I had some technical problems, so the last 10 minutes of the first half are without sound, and the second half recording is divided to two parts.

Thörn is understandibly moving on to Odense. She's getting a big pay rise, so would be foolish for her to turn it down but she has been a great player in Aarhus. Testament to what can be done. She wanted to increase her level of play and did just that in Aarhus. It's a great story.

Now there is still an exciting keeper in Nora Persson in the squad and I hope they are ready to make her the #1. She deserves it and she is ready. The board do not have a lot of money to use on the new goalkeeper, so some candidates who should be willing to take the job and got some qualities like being able to turn it on in short periods, taking over a match but doesn't have the consistency to be a number one goalkeeper. My candidates are, but people in power never listen :-"

Laura Askvist in Aalborg. She might be ready to make the move to a League club now and is in the age where a move to a city like Aarhus and a team like Aarhus United would make a ton of sense.

Marie Aas in AGF seems logical. She has a ton of talent and would be willing to be number two behind Persson and just allow herself to develop slowly. She has ambitions and it would be an easy promotion.

Synna Lien in Vendsyssel would be the dream signing in my opinion but she is under contract and I have no clue if that contract can be wiggled around to let her join Aarhus. I think she would be the perfect pairing with Persson.

I didn't watch NFH-Esbjerg, so I would be interested in hearing @Anol or someone else who saw it give their opinion as to what went wrong for Esbjerg and what went right for NFH.

Aarhus allowed Silkeborg to play their game in the second half and they control from that point on. It was too easy for them to play with pace and Aarhus didn't get any easy goals. Ellertsen had to create everything offensively which you can't expect from her at this point. Cecilie Mørch didn't take her chances, Marielle didn't take her chances. Too passive and you can't be passive against a Silkeborg-team that gets their way.

But Ellertsen is really growing up right now. With some of the more experienced players not really stepping up, she is grabbing the baton and leading the way with Line Larsen. It's a joy watching those two.

You are usually well informed about the talents in the Aarhus area. Who might be the next new names getting the chances to play in the league for Aarhus United? I see that "little sister" Maria Wierzba has scored a few goals recently, but anyone else? Anne Sofie Ottosen?

Wierzba and Mie Guldager are for sure the next two breakout candidates in Aarhus United. Wierzba has already proven that she can beat senior defenders with her pace and Guldager is already stronger than most senior pivots, so much is expected from those two in the coming years. So those two are pretty established on the senior team now.

In terms of the future players who might get a chance next season or late this season.

Goalkeeper Emilie Holst Firgaard alternates between being the best goalkeeper in the u17 League with HEI/VRI and the best goalkeeper in the u19 League with Aarhus United. She is still only 17, so chances of her being the #2 to Nora Persson are slim, but she will get a shot soon. She certainly deserves to get a shot.

Anne-Sofie Ottosen and Julie Lilholt battles to stand out with both of them playing the same position. Anne-Sofie Ottosen has trained and played with the first team but Lilholt just plays fantastic for HEI/VRI and got called up for Heine's u19 NT last time. Both are destined to play for the Aarhus United-team, but Ottosen's physique is just so good. Hopefully room will open for them.

Emily Aaen might the most exciting of the bunch as a playmaker but she is still only 16, so too early for her. She is playing very well for the HEI/VRI u17-team. Aarhus might be too rich in playmakers for all to get a chance at Aarhus United. Wierzba, Aaen, Nicoline Sax.

A year and a half ago Clara Skøtt was on her way to her first youth championship with the Danish u17 national team when she tore her ACL just days before. Now she has just turned 18, been rehabing for 1 and a half year and is already contributing to København Håndbold's league team. They really got a special one in her and I'm sure they will look out for her. If not, then she is one from Heine's generation, so she will be more than welcome in Aarhus 8:)

Also nice to see Wiezba and Skøtt both being a part of their senior team. We've been robbed of those two connecting on the same team but hopefully we have that in store for the future

Randers - Copenagen. I doubt if anyone wants to watch this game, but I put it here anyway. Due to technical problems, the second half is divided to three parts. The last part includes the last 13 minutes, which were the most interesting part of the game thanks to some strange decisions of KBH's coach (why attack again and again with 7 players when you have a comfortable lead?).

For some reason I can't upload the first half of Aarhaus - Viborg, so the millions of fans will have to settle for the second half:
