For some reason I have never been to this part of the forum, but it was actually fun to get to know a bit more about everybody, so I will join in. (even thoughit´s a bit late)

Name: Alan Tjagvad Christensen
Currently living in: A small town between Vejle and Horsens, Denmark.
Age: 18
Occupation: I will start on my last year in the gymnasium in August. When all the shitty exams are over.
Languages: English  and German

What can I say about this forum? It´s one of a kind and I have really learned a lot here. I had a lot of prejudice before I joined this forum and they are all gone now... Almost all

I always though that people from the Balcan area were - lets just say not so friendly. You know, very agressive, bad tempered and fanatic - and I don´t know why, but I also thought that you didn´t know English very well. Stupid  This has been proven wrong, even though I still think that you - in general - can be a bit fanatic at times, but that´s okay

About the look of the girls. If you ask any Dane to describe a typical Easteuropean handball player, they would say something like 190 cm, butch-looking with a bad haircut, which is dyed red or purple. Kinda like Liudmila Schevshenko :?

Now I know that especially Hungary and also SCG have some fine girls - I still haven´t seen an attractive Ukrainian though :!: Perhaps Shynkarenko, but besides her...

But I actually know quite a lot of Slavic people. I have a good friend from BIH - Belma Topalovic. (There are many Bosnians in Denmark) My two cousins are half Polish and my uncle remarried a Bulgarian, who brought her daughter to Denmark as well.

About my age - I don´t know if it´s a good or a bad thing that Joana thought I was older, but what can I do?

We all learn something every day, and I’m proud that this forum is a place when we can all learn about the others.
I think that we can not destroy the prejudices cause they still exist, but that’s normal cause also there are prejudices in the other way around.

I'm from Turku, Finland. (150 000 or something like that inhabitants)
I'm 28 and I'm still at the university, studying English and various other subjects that are far more interesting.
After this academic year I should have my master's thesis finished and graduated, but I plan to write another one for comparative literature during the next year.
I hope that in the future I could live another year or two abroad, maybe in Hungary or Spain (my favourite languages)

Hobbies: movies, books and such things; languages (unfortunately I'm lazy and don't learn anything properly); I'm not involved in actually doing any sports at the moment (too lazy) but I try follow handball and sometimes ice-hockey.

Favourite teams:

1. Atlas (men, women and youth teams -- used to play for them in my teens)
2. Pick-Szeged (I lived in Szeged for a year)
3. FTC (During my year in Szeged FTC made it to the finals in Champions League and lost to guess which team)

I think that is because that country does not exist for 15 years. Anyway, we wait for your comments on both Macedonian and English part of the forum.

Веројатно не ти е проблем македонскиот јазик :P

Well, you're right...Officially the country doesn't excist any more but in my heart it still excists and it will remain where it is with the name that it held 15 years ago...

First,I'm supporting myself! :D
Then good handball no metter where it's being played!
No teams, no nations...but I have to admit that I liked to watch Norway before and now I was delighted with Russia on the WC.
I like handball that is being played in Denmark because it's fast, with lots of goals and fine moves...
