CSM began new season TODAY ! I wish them good luck ! alltogether with other teams who compete in Europe this season 2019/20 .https://www.facebook.com/CSMBOfficial/v ... 690051866/

Ryde and Lekic some private talks . No Neagu,no Mork ...Dragana only on the bench for now after surgery...Linnea on trainning directly.... =D> ....Linnea will be a key-balance player ...she is wise, extremely professional and has a lot,a lot of experience ...and above all she speak same language as Ryde.

No doubt she will be a very good handball coach bcse I feel she is tough in team-sport pedagogy as well.

Tomas Ryde's statement : << We shouldn't talk too much about the objectives (aims) ,it is already obvious we want to " take it all" ...(like in that swedish song ...I can say...I love You ? )... We have no guarantee that we would win in all tournaments , but we have a very good squad and we must manage (play ?) like a team . I spoke very clear, we have to comunicate very well . If we don't, we won't be able to succed. >>......and I follow the ideea ...if Halep succeded to beat that "monster" in Wimbledon final, why not CSM does the same....

Problems on CSM Bucuresti . The mayor says that some club's sport branches must be sacked . On my opinion only handball (girls and boys) and volley (girls) deserved to be financed . The rest are just money eaters .

Does this mean that CSM is again in existential danger?

No. It will not affect the women's handball team! In the article it says that the restant salaries were payed! Also, is the same "journalist", this one that writes about handball in gsp and that wrote the article, that when Helle was confirmed that she will train CSM București, wondered how she will talk to the girls, being absolutely sure that Helle doesn't know english! :))

red and white wrote:I know this has been discussed before, but help med understand the premise of the finansing of CSM Bucuresti. How much of the budget is paid by public money? Is it only the municipality of Bucharest who funds it? What about private sponsors?

I have the impression that quite a big portion of the funding is indeed public money, and if that is the case, how can that be justified? In Denmark, people would NEVER accept that their tax money is spent on huge salaries for athletes. From my perspective it´s very socially irresponsible, but maybe Romanians view it differently.

Look at this: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4968&p=153337&hilit=Public+money#p153337

All professional sports in Romania are funded by public money. This is sad and I also don't agree, but in Romania we have bigger problems regarding corruption and most of the people simply don't care about your subject.

I guess CSM has a budget 90% from public money or even more, there is no info. The same for Valcea (even if their president stated something different, I don't trust them at all) and all other teams.

In some words, profesional clubs from all sports are a real mess in Romania. Is like a toy for local authorities and like a "business between friends", used to gain some money from local budget for some of those friends' pockets, if you know what I mean. "They" put their friends in board of the clubs, chosen not for their managerial skills, but because they are members of the party. Everything decided by politics. We have a lot of corruption in our public institutions. They hide everything, nobody knows how exactly they spend money in a team. These information should be public IMO, as long as there are public money. But hey, we are in Romania. Btw, in Denmark sums are shown to public?

In June 2020 we have local election and will be another moment when some teams will disappear and others to (re)born. :D Is like a cercle, every 4 years.

To RED and WHITE : we already talk about, time to time this subject.Of course there are different point of view because of cultural differences (first of all). This does not mean that only one (culture) has the monopoly of truth or justice . I do not know of what are the beliefs of russians, serbs, greeks, turks, hungarians on this aspect . Romanian as a latin people don't forget their ancestor's "panem et circenses" ... and when is about "circenses" we are strongly enthousiasts . I do not know details but I think some 20% from CSM's handball female budget come from sponsors. And what is huge salary : 10-20.ooo euros/month ? Which is the medium (average) salary in Denmark ? Please tell me to Know it ? I think Mork,Neagu,Lekic or others like them deserve it (if Schutrups has 3000 from Vipers)...and if you want sportshow and performance YOU must pay for it and if you can bring 80-100% sponsors hurray ,you're proffesional manager (see Larvik case  ). Perhaps you think if sponsors didn't want to pay a dime the sportsgame deserve to dye...and don't forget this is handball not football .Of course for some to be generous mean to be fool or at least, naive. No need to say these considerations simplify a lot this aspect.

4 years or even more often :D. Brace yourselves for impact guys, Roman is coming back. "Then why was the team disbanded in the first place?", someone of the sound mind could ask the mayor. "Because that was not my toy, now it is", he would probably reply. :D

Well, well I'm tired to listen this marrote about corruption in Romania as nothing else happen in this country .Less talks and more deeds on this matter ,obsesive talking and depreciating exagerrations help no one but become a "profession".Whinnies choir !
To be corrupt is bad... but not much more than those who use this matter to gain own power or just to appear more interesting.

Adrian Vasile has difficulties to named second coach and GKs trainer...He remained second coach of Muntenegru ,aside Per.This should prove to be a good ideea in the not too far future.I can't imagine he should step back and accept again second coach position to CSM. He does not exclude to transfer players to CSM but only from winter...I suggest him to hurry and not make too many long- term plans....The first defeat in CL (ag. Esbjerg for instance) will be fatal for him....

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Here is your Champions League Final 4 finals after Budapest! Bucharest 2024

Image

Image

After Cluj Napoca, Romania will build 4 more large indoor arenas in Bucharest, Timișoara, Iasi and Brasov. Everything is signed now!

Arena Polivalentă will be one of the largest in Europe, with a seating capacity of 20,000 spectators at its highest configuration. If less is needed, 16,000 can be configured since 4,000 is mobile seating.

The construction begins in July 2020, after the 2020 European Football Championships (also hosted by Romania), because this projected land is serving as parking place near Arena Națională. The hall will be built between fotball's Arena Națională (55,600 seats) and the new Patinoarul Mihail Flamaropol ice rink.

CSM Bucharest will play here.

One thing about the team, it's laughable Adrian Vasile became the manager of CSM. It's like saying a doctor is the best just because he has a diploma.

Ok, Vasile speaks English well and owns master class, but he's highly unproven. Do you know what I remark? That CSM going downhill under him. In my opinion Ryde is still a good coach though, in terms of training, but Vasile lived exactly 2-3 months from the Swedish work.

I do believe Romania has great brains, but not in handball. Not yet. They should do more. Maybe it's a start with the master coach. Best coaches now are in Spain.
